PINK Party Inspiration Board

Following from yesterday's post, I thought it would be a nice idea to put together a Pink Party Inspiration Board for GIRLS! (I'll post a green version for Boys a little later..)

 Pink Party as suggested by Bird Crafts :)

This Inspiration Board has an underlying garden theme, with flowers and butterflies. As the theme suggests, it would preferably be done outdoors in good weather, but it would still look great indoors!

It doesn't just have to be for Birthdays. You could use the same ideas for a baby shower or a fun, girly get together! It has ideas on decor, food, accessories and the  link sources below to help you plan and organise your PINK party in style!! :)

Activities and Party Games:

* Cupcake decorating with pink, edible glitter, pink chocolate sprinkles, pink berries..
* Each child could have an individual basket with their snacks for a pic-pic over a soft pink blanket
* Painting and decorating a flower pot or a bird house
* Making a butterfly feeder
* Making daisy chains with real daisies
* Face painting and dressing up with butterfly wings and pink, flower accessories
* Making flower or butterfly brooches, magnets or hair accessories with pink crafty bits

Party Favours:

* Pink sweets and candy bags with customised, pink labels
* Decorative pink, Plush Flower Pots
* Gardening Kit: Their decorated flower pots with a packet of flower seeds, instructions, watering-can and gardening tools
* A tea cup and saucer (from thrifty stores?) filled with: Soap bubbles, sweet treats, pink fashion accessories or make-up. All sweetly wrapped and embellished with a personalised, pink tag

Party Food & Drinks:

* Mini pink-berry jam tarts
* Mini pink fruit jellies
* Tea or iced tea served in mini tea cups, cocoa, pink lemonade served in vintage bottles, pink milk-shake
* Candy and chocolate bars wrapped with pink, personalised candy wrappers
* Finger buffet with sandwiches, canapés and pink amuses-bouches
* Pink meringues filled with cream and jam


Garden Party is going to be THE theme for my children's birthdays this year, so this post mixes "business" with pleasure!! :) 

Very sneaky of me, but the theme is sooo great for either Boys or Girls, I just had to share my ideas with you! You'll see what I mean when I post a Boy's version next...So don't miss it! :)
