Link Party Show Off

Wow! Thank you guys so much for linking up your gorgeous, handmade parties!

It always amazes me to see the talent, dedication and love that went into each DIY party or indeed party-related post!  Because making things from scratch with your own hands, perhaps with a limited budget, requires skills and imense creative energy and that in itself my friends, is worth celebrating!

So here I am to highlight for the world to see, some of my favourite entries from last week's Blog Link Party! There were soooo many cool links that I didn't have the space to get them all here, so if you want more details, check out the full list!

And If you've been featured, feel free to pick up my featured button below and display it proudly! Go on...don't be shy! :)

Bird Crafts

I'm starting with  the décor, because there that's where we usually start! There were some really simple, but fantastic ideas linked, which show that with a bit of imagination you can make a room look fab and ready for any party!

Take this blue BBQ/ Baby shower posted by Roeshel at The DIY Show Off for example. I just love the crepe paper pom poms and darling fairy lights. It makes the place look and feel instantly magical!

Another gorgeous version of how these pom poms can enhance any décor is this pretty and pink, Princess Dress up Party by Sarah from Harringan Howdy!

You know how much I love pink, and so this party really caught my eye! :)

And because every princess needs a throne, how about a DIY one?! Well, Creative Jewish Mom shows you how to make this fabulous Birthday Chair Slipcover from felt!

Keeping with the pinks, just check out this dessert table by Carissa from Musings of a Modern Mom! She had a "From Paris with Love" party theme that I just HAD to feature! :)

It is such a good example of how food can be used as decoration too. I am sooooo in love with the strawberries covered in chocolate! Trés chic!

If you're still not tired of pink here is another great theme by Shayna at Texas Monkey! She had a Monkey 1st Birthday party for her little Casey Marilyn and it works! Bright and cheerful pinks with yellows - Gorgeous!

Because pink is not everyone's cup of tea (shock, horror!!), how about this blue Teddy Bear Party by the gals at Lemon Tree Creations?!

I just heart the attention to detail here. The blue theme running through the food and décor alike...

Now prepare yourselves for the most adorable little monkey, Toby!

His mama made this cut out last minute, and she has plenty more fun Sock Monkey Party ideas over at My House of Giggles!

But because adults party too (even if it IS pre-baby...) here is an original palette of Aqua and Tangerine Baby Shower from The DIY Diaries. Isn't it fab?!

Again, just love how the soda bottles are both useful AND ornamental! :)

I know we're still a way away, but check out this FAB Halloween Party Tablescape from Starshine Chic! Scary AND Beautiful...Johnny Depp, eat your heart out!

Speaking of Pirates, this IS the best Pirate Party I have ever seen for little boys! This one was posted by Stephanie from Under The Table and Dreaming, who incidentally was also hosting a fab Party Link Party last week! :)

And if you don't have a pirate to hand, Angie at Treasures for Tots show you how to kit out your little pink princess with this darling Party Tutu for her big day!

Now, because party without food is NOT a party (unless your party theme is "Weight Watchers"...) then here are some fabulous food goodies to make you salivate!

Firstly, my dear friend Claudia from Feito a Mao shows you how to make these adorable and delicious Chocolate Pots! Look fab and taste delicious - tried and tested by yours truly! :)

Then there are these cute cookies from a Dinosaur Birthday Party by the Stories of A to Z!

To wash it all down, some cute ideas on how to personalise your booze! :)
From Soccer Party by Emily (aka Reece Witherspoon! Tell her I said that!) at Toads' Treasures:

To an original and sooo vintage-chic Cowboy (or Girl) Baby Shower idea by Christy at From Glitter to Gumdrops. She served pink lemonade (my fave) and iced tea in Mason jars!! I am totally stealing the idea!

Before leaving any party, we usually get party favors, right? Well, it's no diferent here! I bring you two cute and totally do-able (plus they are fun and look good too!) tutorials by some great gals.

And last but not least, some funky dudes (and she has dudettes too!) party favor for an Alien Party by A Lemon Squeeze Home - That is "Easy Peezy" to make! :)

That's all for today my friends, and if I have not featured you this time round, then you'll have plenty more chances to next month. I'm hosting this party every 1st Monday of each month and it runs for the entire week!

Much Love and have a great Sunday!
