Pick cherries (300g from our generous and full-to-the-max trees) - Yes, it's hard work, but someone's kids gotta do it!! :)
Then wash them, pit them....
Add lush ingredients....(300ml milk, 3 eggs, 60g vanilla sugar, 60g flour, 1/2 tspoon baking powder)
Bake in a moderate oven (180C/gas 4) until golden brown and puffed. Then wait until cool enough so you don't burn your mouth.....
.......aaaaaaaaaaand relax!!! :)
Pheeew! Cherry Clafoutis work-out: Well worth the effort!! ;)

You've got cherries at this time of year in US right? So you're good to go! :)
love,
Bird
Do you think this would work with blueberries as well? We just picked a lot of them this week, and am looking for some recipes. I really wish they had cherries down in Texas, but I think they're more of a "northern" fruit.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Sarah
