French Recipe: Cherry Clafoutis

So now summer is here, we're all trying to get into shape for beach (right?), I've decided to spend my days exercising hard...just takes a look at these pics:

Pick cherries (300g from our generous and full-to-the-max trees) - Yes, it's hard work, but someone's kids gotta do it!! :)

Then wash them, pit them....

Add lush ingredients....(300ml milk, 3 eggs, 60g vanilla sugar, 60g flour, 1/2 tspoon baking powder)

Bake in a moderate oven (180C/gas 4) until golden brown and puffed. Then wait until cool enough so you don't burn your mouth.....

.......aaaaaaaaaaand relax!!! :)

Pheeew! Cherry Clafoutis work-out: Well worth the effort!! ;)

  12. Oh, we lost our cherry tree last year. It gave us the best cherries! We'd have to fight the birds off, but we always got quite a few buckets-full.

Would love for you to stop by Thursday & link up to Fab Finds for the Fourth!

  17. So glad to see you at the party, I was wondering where you were! That dessert looks great, and I love the fact that there's no crust! So actually if one uses low fat milk, it's really quite a low fat not so unhealthy dessert! Thanks so much for sharing, love that cherry tree!

  25. Do you think this would work with blueberries as well? We just picked a lot of them this week, and am looking for some recipes. I really wish they had cherries down in Texas, but I think they're more of a "northern" fruit.

    Thanks,
    Sarah
