A Bird and The Bees Themed Baby Shower

As I'm currently designing a custom Baby Shower Collection themed around "The Birds and The Bees" (more on that later...), I though it very convenient to post a super cute, super fabulous party sent to me by my talented friend Natasha from the Fete Fanatic blog!

A Bird and The Bees Themed Baby Shower

Natasha created an organic, yet whimsical style using terrarium centrepieces, branches with dye-cut birds, feathers, birdhouses, and of course a desert/candy display to act the main "eye piece" of her event.

Gummy worms were placed on the tables for guests to enjoy throughout the shower.  She also had Honey Lemon Spritzer, a non alcoholic signature drink made with Sprite, fresh lemons and honey. It was displayed in a Beehive dispenser.

Natasha also "dressed her drinks" so glasses were embellished with blue sugar rims, and tiny pacifiers on the drinking straws. Gorgeous or what?! I'm totally stealing that idea!! :)

The cake was also designed to reflect the theme and the party invites.

Sticking with the theme, the party favor was a tea cup with ginger lemon teabag, and a Honey Bee Swizzle stick to sweeten your tea. Sweet!!

The sweets table interpreted all three elements of the shower, birds, bees, and touches of baby. Sweet treats included brownie pops with a baby bottle toppers, chocolate cherry nests, and chocolate dipped pretzels handmade by Natasha herself!!

WOW!! Needless to say I'm in awe of the amazing attention to detail!! So many inspiring ideas and fabulous food for thought!

Thank you so much Natasha for showing us how it's meant to be done! ;)
