On with our "In The Spotlight" series, today we're getting to know a little more about another of our fabulous and mega talented blog contributors, Christine from Pure Joy Events!
Christine started blogging here last year, and her work is just pure joy! :)
You might have seen some of her gorgeous parties around the web (including on Amy Atlas and HWTM!) and the STUNNING Lunar or Chinese New Year Party she styled for Bird's Party Magazine, right? Well, later on today she's bringing you a fabulous DIY tutorial post to show you how to make the same paper globe garland she used for the shoot!
A little about me...
I'm a full-time working mom of two with a passion for crafting, as well as designing and styling parties for children. I can't get enough of 80's music, reality television shows, washi tape and flan : )
and my signature style...
I'm not sure I have a signature style, but much of my work has subtle Asian influences.
It was such a joy to design and style the Vintage Sewing Party for my daughter's 7th birthday, and then to see it all come together on the day of the party.
On my to do list for 2012 (work aspirations, goals, dreams or projects)
With so many DIY party tutorials out there, my goal for 2012 is to make Pure Joy Events "the" site for party tutorials. I'll be rounding up some of my favorite tutorials and featuring them on the blog. Plus, I'll continue to share my DIY projects, starting with the paper globe garland, here on Bird's Party.
Be sure to visit Pure Joy Events on January 23rd, when the first Party Tutorial Contest of the year kicks off!
