My favorite part of back to school season is school supplies, by a mile. It's always been the case for me since I was a child. I think it's the smell of new books...and don't even get me started on the cute pens and paper goods! ;)

So now with my own kids, I get to indulge in my stationery obsession when they go back to school. But the DIY way, of course!

So we find ourselves customizing pencil cases, school shoes, back packs... And one of my ultimate favs is jazzing up boring school notebooks, agendas and diaries.

It's a super easy way to get kids (and moms) excited for back to school, back to college...and if you don't have kids or are not going back to school yourself, these ideas will jazz up boring office and home supplies too.
