They're great for classroom gifts, for neighbors or as part of a Galentine's day table place setting! The kids can totally help with this one, which is a huge bonus in my books - less for me to do! 😋
As part of my green and gold Christmas Holiday tablescape , I made these cute DIY glitter ornaments to act as place-card holders on my party table. They helped add a little shimmer and sparkle to each place-setting, and were SO easy and quick to make! I made them the night before the party. Just shows you can create something special and last-minute, without much effort. And THAT is my fav kind of craft!! 😉
Man, I love a good party photo booth, don't you?! Especially if it's easy to put together ;) Don't get me wrong, I totally adore those beautifully crafted DIY photo booths full of intricate paper flowers or balloon backdrops we see all over Pinterest . But in reality, for my own party photo booths, I tend to go less OTT and opt for a more low-key version.
Confession time: Despite my love of parties, I never go OTT on costumes for Halloween. And I hate those shop-bought "monstrosities" costumes that you only wear once. But I DO like dressing the part for any party or celebration. So I tend to opt for some funky tee-shirts, crazy tights, makeup or a little black dress ( like in this post ). And almost every time, I reach our for animal ear headbands to complete the look (the mean girls "I'm a mouse, duh!" phrase comes to mind...).

Well, I was so inspired, that I decided to spook-up my Halloween party balloons using black electrical tape! They are perfect as party decorations, but also make fun photo booths or even as part of a funky costume.
