In my book pink goes with pretty much anything ;) But is particularly pretty, coupled with bright yellow for a seasonal garden party inspired by flowers and butterflies ! I'm also SO over those big, elaborate dessert tables we used to style some years ago. And as much I loved doing them, I think kids birthday parties don't need to be OTT to be charming. A few touches of DIY decor is all I tend to go for these days, and this darling inspiration board is proof that less is more!

So when my friend Gillian sent over her stunning party photos with a fiesta theme and get this, PINATA COOKIES (!!); I actually did a little dance. It's a softer take on the usually bright Mexican inspired theme. This stunning Thanksgiving party was featured first on Bird's Party Magazine a while back, and styled by Alexandra from Enchanted Events and Designs. The idea is to make the Thanksgiving kids table inviting enough so the kids will want to sit put. For a little while at least... So crafts, activities and practical but FUN decorations are a must!
Hello sweet friends ! Happy to be back with my batteries fully charged for what looks like will be a cray-cray season ahead! Thankfully I spent some time chillaxing at this magical place ...which is handy seen the size of my to-do list already ! Between stocking the shop with some exciting new party goodies (can't wait to share!), prepping a Christmas edition with Créative magazine , organizing three creative workshops in October, not to mention some fun projects with PBS Parents ; the next few months are chock-a-block!!
