Celebrate Magazine has been one of my favorites since way back when I started this blog... Always full of inspiring party ideas, delicious recipes and fun DIYs for any occasion or celebration! So you can imagine my joy and excitement when they invited me to be in their August  Birthday Issue !!

If you haven't noticed, this week's all about Mexican themed party ideas  and fiesta fun! And today I'm delighted to be joining the one and only Clinton Kelly , TV personality, author, editor and general stylist-crush-of-mine... for a Makeover Your Margarita Challenge !!

Yay! Finally able to share with you all the details of the fun project I'd been working on for PBS Parents for our ABCs & 123s Birthday Party ! We had a blast styling this super creative party, and thinking of fun and easy ways to carry the theme through the table, decor, food. So there are tons of DIY ideas, recipes (including a DIY cake!), party crafts and easy ideas with full step-by-step instructions on ALL OF IT over at PBS! Not to mention a complete printable party kit to help you pull it off!

I know we're all thinking about Halloween. But it never too early in my party book to start Christmas planning. Especially giddy to have teamed up with  Oriental Trading  this issue, for a North Pole Inspired Christmas Party spread! :)

I styled this Easter Kids Brunch last year for Yum and Food for Kids Magazine. Their Easter issue is out and full of amazing ideas!! And with Easter round the corner, I thought I'd share all the details here on the blog with tips and trick on how you can re-create it at home. It's a very simple and super colorful table that will wow your little bunnies! But these unique ideas can also be used for the family table too, simply replace the disposable tableware with fancier china.

Late last year, I was invited to take part in a  fun craft challenge for All You Magazine . It'd been a while since I touched needle and thread, but it's like riding a bike it seems. You never forget it! ;) This was a really a fun project and was really nice to get back to my sewing roots.  Only a few hours left to vote, so pretty please stop by their Facebook page and vote for the Penguin ? It was a crazy, whirlwind week and work was the main reason of my trip,  promoting the magazine !!  

Paris is just one of those cities that inspires and captures one's imagination. And what better way to spark those creative light bulbs while in ' the city of light' , than by attending the Marie Claire Craft Show ?!! :) I can't tell you how giddy I am to be taking part this year! October has started, and promises to be like a crazy whirlwind. But when the work I do for the blog gets shared or feature in the press, it more than makes up for the long hours and hard work. Not only because it opens up other business avenues and a chance to connect with a new audience, but also because someone, somewhere, has also liked what you did. And that my friends, is totally priceless! :)

Who says Halloween is all about the sweet stuff?! I'm not too keen on candy myself (I know, shock horror!), so I was thrilled to be able to style something different for Halloween this year - A Chilling Chili Halloween Buffet! I love working with YUM Food and Fun for Kids Magazine , and my Halloween Chili Bar is now in their October Issue - The article is 8 pages long with easy ideas and recipes on re-creating this chili bar for Halloween!

Mega excited to see our Little Aviator Party Printables in the premier, September issue of  Tattle Magazine! The party featured is her "Flying High" to a new school year by our darling, mega talented contributor Jennifer Carver from  Banner Events !

I love working on editorials for printed press. There's nothing like seeing one's work in print. I think the smell of the pages also has a part to play in it. Yes, I unashamedly 'sniff' my work! :D Anyways, you can imagine my delight when the editors of Rio Grande and Red River Family Magazine got in touch for another collaborative work for their July issue. We had worked together before, but this time they were going to feature three of our parties! Woo-Hoo! Both mag are printed and also available for you to read online. Hi sweet friends! Did you have a relaxing weekend, reading the latest issue of Bird's Party Magazine?! ;)  After all the excitement of the mag last week, you'd think I'd take it easy now the issue was out? Well, no sir! Already working on the next one (plus a dozen other projects) and excited (and slightly in shock) that next issue has all nearly been assigned!  It's a good sign though, and I am beyond ecstatic to be working with such a fabulous team again! ♥

Still doing a happy dance (and a bunny hop), over the fabulous features our  Easter Party and Ideas received this month around the web - Tweeeeeet! :)

With arrival of spring, it means we can finally dust off our crafty tools and start creating again! Woo-Hoo! :) And SheKnows  Canada has compiled a fab post on  Easter DIY Centerpieces that are as easy as they are eye catching!

So beyond excited to see our Valentine's feature on the February 2013 Issues of Red River Family Magazine AND Rio Grande Magazine !

OK, so Christmas has been and gone but there's nothing wrong with a little forward planning! I know come the end of the year, I am like a headless chicken with a thousand and one things to tick off my check list... So this is where pinning some crafty ideas throughout the year will save me (and you) a heap of time!
