Bird's Party Shop will be closing for the Holidays on Friday 17th until January 3rd , and I'll also be taking a break from the blog for a while, in order to re-charge my batteries and spend some quality time with my family! :) I'm very thankful for all the great friends I have met through the blog this year, and also for all the support and comments received by so many wonderful readers, sponsors, followers, subscribers and sweet customers!
Sometimes I just wish I could enter my own giveaways, as this week's prize is a stunning 6" Milk Green Hobnail Pedestal Cake Stand worth $45 by none other than Sweet & Saucy Supply !! I was so beyond thrilled when Melody Brandon , Co-Owner & Head Pastry Chef of the popular dessert studio Sweet & Saucy Shop agreed to sponsor a giveaway at Bird's Party Blog , and be one of the featured sponsors in our Holiday Party Guide 2010 !!
It's the season to be jolly, when we gather together to celebrate with our nearest and dearest! I love parties, it's no news. I don't think words can express the joy and sheer delight of having my work featured on amazing blogs such as Hostess With The Mostess !! It's difficult to share such wonderful news, and yet try to keep one's cool and not seem like you're showing off....or a lot bit hysterical! :)

This take on a Pinkalicious Lemonade Party I'm about to show you, was actually a custom party request for a Bake Sale!! Isn't that fun?! My good friend Rachel from Chocolate Fish Parties , along with her kids, hosted a bake sale to raise funds for their favorite hospital Starship Children's Hospital in New Zealand , and asked me to re-design some custom printables for the occasion!

Yes, I've been MIA this week, but not quite.....I've been busying myself with a new, exciting venture!! Yes, folks, if you haven't noticed our Bird Crafts Blog has had a little make-over and is now re-named Bird's Party Blog . Still same URL for the blog , but more in-keeping with our brand new shop: www.BirdsParty.com http://www.birdsparty.com
This one was designed with all you chic and stylish people in mind! ;) Great for a sophisticated Winter Birthday Party , glitz Holiday Celebrations or a glam New Year's Eve Party ! I wanted something a little more grown-up, with cleaner lines and a "black tie" vibe for this printable collection, and was inspired by Glitter Balls, Sparkly Baubles and Snowballs , hence the Glitter and Snow Party Collection !
Since posting my Christmas Candyland Dessert Table last week, I've had a lot of people ask for the details, and namely how I did the cupcake stand and the white, glittery trees ( tutorial coming soon) that you can see in the photo below.
