A fun and cool way (no pun..) to ease kids into their scholastic transitions - Kinda like the lollipops we used to get after a trip to the dentist?! Bejeweled Pink Rose Truffles Recipe
This is the last post of Wedding series for HGTV , and we're ending on a super sweet note! These pretty truffles are super yummy but so easy to make - as with anything I bake ;) Their "bejeweled" effect is achieved by rolling the truffles in pink sugar pearls.
How To Decorate Cakes with Fondant
So you want to cover a cake in fondant. Now what? Well, it might not be as scary as you might think. After all, it's just cake and sugar - not brain surgery ;) There are certainly mixed feelings when it comes to fondant. I am not sure if this is because people find it difficult to use, it does not look as "yummy" as fluffy buttercream, it tastes funny, or whatever. In my humble opinion, there will always be a place for fondant. Maybe not for every event or design, but it is certainly worth giving a try. It may take practice to handle efficiently, but it yields beautiful, smooth results - even producing designs that cannot be achieved with any other medium.

DIY Wedding Confetti Cones with Free Printables
Happy Monday!! Ready to start a week on a crafty note?! :) These easy to make paper confetti cones are the perfect adornments to wedding reception chairs. Fill them with confetti or rose petals as in this case, for a sweet-smelling and mega romantic feel! ♥
DIY Wedding Table Number with Free Printables
As part of my recent wedding story for HGTV , I got to play with spray paint and create my very own mini pedestal stands. I had found some vintage pink saucers in a flea marked, and all I needed was to spray paint some ceramic candlesticks to match. I have to say I was hooked - Not only was it easy to make, so pretty, but also way more inexpensive than buying individual stands. Now I have all sorts of plans for making larger DIY ceramic cake and cupcake stand - So watch this space! ;)
