Can you believe Halloween is 'round the corner?! Me neither! So I thought I'd better get my skates on and start sharing some spooky inspired posts asap. And today's easy crafty ideas are so quick and fun to make, even the kiddos can help - you'll get a good 30 minutes of peace (tried and tested), and that's always a great incentive to get kids crafting if nothing else! 😋
A Charming Mickey & Minnie Inspired Party
This post is sponsored by the KEEP Collective but all opinions are my own. The magic surrounding the Mickey & Minnie Disney characters is undeniable. As a birthday theme it remains as popular today as it did back when I was a little girl, when I begged my mom to have a Mickey theme for my 9th birthday. This was the beginning of my love affair with all things Disney! Now that I'm all grown up and have a little girl of my own, I still find myself drawn to this charming party theme. And as party blogger, I witness first hand how much the characters are loved by kids and parents alike.

You know how much I love unicorns (who doesn't?!), and today's super adorable DIY craft is ticking all the boxes. I mean, just look at the gold and rainbow mane!! 😍 This adorable and easy to make unicorn topper can be used to decorate cupcakes or straws, but we're also digging it as pencil holders for your back to school supplies! Our Quick & Easy End of Summer Patio Party
Summer is coming to an end, boo! And as much as I've been trying to resist the transition into Fall, school for my kiddos starts next week, so there's no denying it any longer. Double boo! But to lessen the blow, and make sure we still make the most of the hot days - yes, it's still 40 deg C in the shade 'round these parts; we celebrated last weekend with an end of summer patio party ! It's our way to enjoy the fine produce on offer at the end of season, and relax before the school routine finally kicks in.

Watermelon Birthday Party Ideas
Photo via Project Nursery The sun is still shining, and if you're looking for a celebration theme for birthdays, baby showers, bridal luncheon or end of summer celebrations, than Watermelons will come to the rescue! It was national watermelon day on August 03rd (yeah, did you miss that too?!), but it's a party theme that will help us linger a little longer in the sun and reminds us that summer is not quite over yet! 😉
Thank you JCPenney for sponsoring this post. Visit JCPenney in-store or online to shop the new fashionable picks at an affordable price! If you have children between the ages of 9 and 18, you'll know that fashion is quite a big part of their back-to-school routine. Having a first-day-of-school outfit that makes the kiddos feel more confident, comfortable and prepared for a new year is also something FUN to look forward to, besides books and school supplies. Bonus points if the outfit is also Instagram-worthy, right?! 😋
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of The J.M. Smucker Company. The opinions and text are all mine.#PBLove When it comes to going back to school, lunch ideas are at the forefront of my to-do list! Mainly because as a mom, I want to provide variety and fun in my kids lunchboxes and give them something practical, nutritious, tasty and comforting that they can look forward to each day.
Watermelon rhyme with summer, right?! But so does a chilled Rosé wine. So I thought, why not combine the two for a tasty and easy to make semi-frozen granita (or slushie) cocktail?! So that's what I did! And now do, most times when I'm hosting a get-together or summer party. Mainly because this watermelon and rosé wine cocktail is super refreshing for hot summer days, but also fun and mega simple to make. And can we take a sec to appreciate how pretty it also looks?! Win-win! 😊
It's been a little quiet 'round here, I know. But I blame it on summer...kids are at home, sun is shinning, birds are singing, and all of a sudden I find myself strangely drawn to the pool and beach. Go figure! 😋 But I also like to take a little pause on weekends to see what fab party ideas, DIY crafts and recipes our party friends have shared in our Sunday link parties! ! ♥ Oh, and don't forget to SUBSCRIBE here so you get notified when the next linky is live ♥
