I'm the person who used to dread seeing Halloween stuff in the shops in August. But due to the nature of my job, things have changed a little, and planning that far ahead is a necessity...Having said that, I'm never quite ready to see winter sweaters for sale in July! And certainly never ready to say goodbye to summer. Ever.  But I also know that it's inevitable, and some people have no choice but to start planning for back to school now. So to make things a little easier, this week I'm sharing some back to school printables: Bookmarks, name tags and super duper cute freebies! 

I know some of you are already preparing for back to school, and if lunch box food poses a dilemma, then fear not! 'Cause  I have handpicked a selection of fun, healthy and totally scrumptious lunchbox recipes that are also easy to make and totally portable.  The kids can totally help too in the prepping of some of these recipes, which all adds to the fun, right?! ;)

I'm an advocate for hand-made, and don't care who knows it. BUT I also don't have a lot of time and like any working mom, budget is always at the forefront of my party planning. And last year for my kid's joint Barnyard Birthday it was no different. I baked, crafted and handmade a lot of the details, including these Apple Cake Pops and mini " Farm Orchard" Centerpiece display for the pops...

I LOVE making lists and ticking them off, and it's no different when getting organized with my two little ones at home, ready to embrace the start of a new school year!! This printable  Back to School checklist  contains all the essentials you need to get organized, and I tried to make it really cute so the kids can get involved too!

I'll be back blogging on a regular basis beginning of September - Trying to enjoy (and work..) for the rest of my summer. She's co-room mom for her son's class this year, and assigned the color orange for their table.

Leoni from  Just call me Martha , created a  Back to School  bash for her little girl's  4th Birthday  and she used some of our  FREEBIE Back to School printables (keep reading).  Isn't she clever?! Sooooooo glad to be back - I missed you!!!!! :) How you been, my sweets? I had a blast and feel totally re-charged, ready to party!!! But before I dive back in properly, I still have tons to sort out (mainly laundry...) and today is just a quickie....

My little girl is starting kindergarten this September (yikes!) and my son is moving up to a "big" class so the nest will seem a little quieter without my little chicks for a few hours of the day. ...They grow up fast don't they?!! To help make this step a little easier and less scary for them (and for hubs and I too), we decided to celebrate and make this occasion a "happy"  one. You know the old saying: "Keep calm and have a cupcake?" Well, this is exactly what I am aiming for!! :)
