Galantine's parties are everywhere! And I LOVE it! Love the fact the Valentine's day has become synonymous with just spreading the love, and not necessarily a couples' thang... And LOVE even more, the idea of sipping cocktails, eating delicious morsels, and just celebrating with your gal pals!! So to help you along, I styled this super simple bar cart. Quick too!

If you follow me on Instagram , would've have seen a  little sneak peak of today's post using Tic Tac ® mints as a wedding favor idea. Tic Tac's goal is to "Shake Things Up" , and I was thrilled when they asked me to come up with a fun packaging idea for a wedding favor!   Tic Tac®  packs remind me confetti, little colored sprinkles, perfect for weddings. So I wanted a modern vibe for the packaging, something that would be meaningful for a wedding, but also add a modern/funky twist to shake thing up ;)  Naturally, I turned to printables. And glitter. 'Cause if you can't have a bit of bling on your wedding day...when can ya?!

My daughter loves pink, and I love red. So this year, I decided to go 100% down the girly route for our Valentine's Day styled shoot!  I adored designing our NEW  Valentine's Day printables , and working with some of the party supplies we carry in the shop , like those mini gumball machines, which I am just in love with! ♥  And if you follow me on Instagram , you'd have seen that being surrounded by all that candy is my idea of a heaven! This is the last post of Wedding series for HGTV , and we're ending on a super sweet note! These pretty truffles are super yummy but so easy to make - as with anything I bake ;) Their "bejeweled" effect is achieved by rolling the truffles in pink sugar pearls.

You probably have seen the cute tea candles I used in the latest wedding story for HGTV here. So today I thought I'd share the tutorial step-by-step on how I made those. I used melt-and-pour wax, which makes for a super simple process, and anyone can do it (NOT for kids though, as it involves hot wax!)

As part of my recent wedding story for HGTV , I got to play with spray paint and create my very own mini pedestal stands. I had found some vintage pink saucers in a flea marked, and all I needed was to spray paint some ceramic candlesticks to match.  I have to say I was hooked - Not only was it easy to make, so pretty, but also way more inexpensive than buying individual stands. Now I have all sorts of plans for making larger DIY ceramic cake and cupcake stand - So watch this space! ;)

Starting the week on a sweet note. And is there any other way?! :) I baked these yummies for the recent wedding shoot I styled for HGTV . They are vanilla bean sugar cookies, and would be the be a delicious addition to any dessert table, as you can vary the color of the topping to suit your theme.

I'm no professional baker, so the thought of making a DIY wedding cake for my latest project for HGTV was a little daunting. But then I realized that with anything homemade, the beauty is in the "journey" as much as in the final product.  So I went with a  less is more approach. Basic pound cake, simply frosted with vanilla cream cheese frosting (thanks to all the masterclasses in Caking it Pretty !). 

So mega excited to finally share my latest project for HGTV !!! My inspiration for parties and printables usually comes from my kids, and so naturally; I've always gravitate towards all-things-geared-for-little-ones. So it was mega refreshing to be tackling a subject that I don't often get to work on - Weddings !! ♥

I recently worked on another super fun shoot for HGTV (hope to share details soon!) and had some leftover materials and a burst of inspiration (not to mention a bunch of glass yogurt pots I had been collection for yonks...). This is how these pink, glittered, candle cuties came to be. They'd be perfect for those lazy summer evenings - Imagine how they'd flicker and glisten on your tabletops or patios. Pretty picture, right?!  :) Super easy to make too (I used melt and pour wax!). Get the full crafty tutorial below.

These babies brand new, can set you back at least $30, so making your own is a steal, and totally more fun too! ;) They are ideal for a rustic wedding or birthday party or Fall celebration - how about a woodland birthday party (think Red Riding Hood , Bambi , Vintage Snow White , Camping Party ...) but also perfect for those rustic, shabby chic bridal or baby showers or weddings too!
