There is lots to accomplish - people to entertain, gifts to buy, kids to feed....I could go on and on! That is why I always have a “secret weapon” in my recipes/entertaining arsenal. Something tasty, quick and easy to prepare, and one that pleases both young, and young-at-heart-kids! 😉
DIY Pink Bow Napkins & Copper Monogram Napkin Rings
These pretty pink bow napkins with their copper monogram napkin rings are one of my favorite projects from my Pink and Copper Christmas party this year! They're also a super quick and easy DIY to embellish any holiday table, so you totally can use what you probably already have at home or tailor them to your color scheme or table theme.
DIY No-Sew Pink & Fluffy Table Place Mats
For my pink and copper Christmas table this year (check out the full post here), I really had my eyes set on some pink furry place-mats I saw in a shop near me. But when I when to buy them, they'd sold out! So what's a party girl to do? Why, make her own, of course!
My Pink & Copper Christmas Party
If you've seem my blog posts lately , you'd have noticed how much the pink and copper combo is influencing my party styling these days! Millennial pink is a super hot trend right now, and paired with the cool metallic shine from copper accents, makes for a festive and oh-so girly table, whatever the occasion. So my heart dictated the choice of colors for our Christmas table this year! Check out the prettiness below.
Pink & Copper DIY Advent Calendar
December is 'round the corner so it's the perfect time to be thinking about your Advent Calendars! I always seem to leave it too late, I must confess. But this year, I pulled my crafty stash out last week and made this baby in one afternoon with the help of my little elves 😊 ( Did you see my Instagram stories? ) Seriously, it's the perfect, EASY craft for an afternoon with the kiddos! Plus, it doesn't hurt that it shimmers with all sorts of metallic ornaments and pretty glitter, shiny papers, right?!
Silver Snowflake Winter Party Ideas
Happy New Year, party friends! It's been a while since I last posted, but after all the end-of year celebrations, come January and I feel all partied out! Are you the same? Anyways, we gotta get motivated somehow...and although winter is not my fav, there's still ways we can make the most of these cold months - hello hot toddy and homemade marshmallows ! 😉
DIY Glitter Baubles Ornament Place-Card Holders
As part of my green and gold Christmas Holiday tablescape , I made these cute DIY glitter ornaments to act as place-card holders on my party table. They helped add a little shimmer and sparkle to each place-setting, and were SO easy and quick to make! I made them the night before the party. Just shows you can create something special and last-minute, without much effort. And THAT is my fav kind of craft!! 😉
Roast Pork with Herb & Mustard Crust Recipe
My favorite part of the Christmas Holidays is cooking and baking well into the New Year. It's my way of showing my family and friends how much I love them. I feed, therefore I love 😋 But I also like putting my feet up and enjoy their company, so I tend to go for big batch recipes, stuff I can make ahead or easy bang-it-in-the-oven-and-forget-about-it type of recipes. Hence this tasty Christmas roast pork with a gorgeous herbs and mustard crust, which I served at my Christmas meal last year!
Green & Gold Christmas Holiday Tablescape
I styled this green and gold Christmas Holiday party last year, but never got a chance to show it here on the blog. But I'm glad to be sharing now, 'cause apparently the 2017 Pantone color of the year is green (or greenery), so we're bang on trend! 😉 This was one of the easiest table decor styling or tablescapes I've ever done. My sister was coming over from London for Christmas, and I wanted to create homely, cozy atmosphere for our family dinner.
Sparkling Citrus Holiday Sangria Recipe
When it come to Holiday entertaining, it's always a great idea to serve a big-batch punch or signature cocktail that your guests can get stuck into straight away. Something that involves little effort, and maximum satisfaction is my motto. So for my Silver & Blue Cocktail and Appetizers party I shared earlier in the week, I did just that. Serving up a batch cocktail like this means you can prep it in advance and just forget about it, which in turn leaves you free to mingle and enjoy the party! Something we tend to forget sometimes at parties we host ourselves (sound familiar?) 😉
