If you follow me on YouTube , you'll have probably seen in my last craft haul video , the cutest Easter cookie cutters I received from one of the brands I work with. So naturally, I could not pass up the opportunity to get baking with my new cookie cutters, hence these adorable Easter sugar cookies that are so yummy and pretty in pastel colors!
Last year I styled a family table for Easter , so this year I decided to create a tablescape that was more fit for the kids. Now, more than ever, I find the need to celebrate the everyday. Finding beauty and comfort in the smallest, "mundane" things, treasuring family time and remembering that no matter how frightening things may seem, that there's always something to be grateful for and to celebrate!
Easter is only a few weeks away, so I thought it would be the perfect time to share this pastel Easter brunch tablescape that I put together for our celebrations at home! The decor of my Easter table this year was inspired by spring and pastel colors in pink, yellow, blue and green, which also happen to match beautifully with our Easter Bunny printable decorations !
Despite the cold and rain some of us are having, spring is actually here. And I thought I'd share some easy-to-make flower sugar cookies for all those seasonal spring parties you may be currently planning. 'Cause let's face it, no party is complete without cookies. And no spring party is complete without flower sugar cookies! Thinks mother's day, spring brunch, bridal showers, tea parties, bee themed birthday...these cookies also make great homemade gifts for teacher's or to give out to guests as favors at your spring party!
When I was fourteen, my school organized a crafts sale, and we had to make all sorts of handmade decor items to sell, including scented candles. We made star-shaped candles, triangular candles, round candles...they smelled sooooo good and I was hooked for life! On candles. Candle-making is one of my favorite crafts ever! Last year I styled a super pretty Easter tablescape complete with a DIY floral table runner . So this year I wanted to change things up a bit, and keep things a little more casual and low-key. I still wanted pretty table mind, but one that was much quicker and easier to style. You know, something that would appeal to all you busy bunnies out there?! 😉 You may have seen sneak peeks of this table over on my Instagram stories in the last few days, so here's the finished article!

Not only because of it's so tasty with its creamy chocolate ganache and fun, bright orange color, but because it's also super simple to make. Easter is 'round the corner and as promised in my last post , today' I'll be sharing a delicious, savory cake recipe that's perfect for your brunch! This is not a novel idea. My mom has been making savory cakes for years, with chicken, Spring vegetables, tuna etc. But this smoked salmon version is perfect for Easter brunch, don't you think?!
This year for Easter, we styled a super pretty floral brunch that's fresh and colorful, but also easy to put together. Last year we had a mimosa bar as part of our Easter brunch ( you can see it here ). It was such a hit with everyone, that this year I'm still going the self-service bar for brunch. But with waffles! The cute bunnies from our traditional Easter Printable Kit are the perfect match for this "Hoppy Easter" styling. I like that's it's not too girly, since my boy wouldn't approve anyways ;)
