Something about a bar that make me all excited for a party! Be it a confetti bar , a waffles bar , or a cocktail bar . I think it's because 'bars' by definition are a fun place to hang out! And also because they're SO easy to set up! Guests serve themselves and all you do as the hostess is watch everyone interacting and join in the fun! And that, my friends; is the great start for any party! ;)

I've had a love for beautifully handwritten notes and calligraphy since I was a child. You see, back in the days, we used to do calligraphy at school to learn how to write properly. My mom bought me these instructional books and I still remember marveling to find out that there was actually a "proper" way to write each letter! Nowadays, I'm in love with modern calligraphy. Big time!

Brunch is always more fun when funky drinks are involved, don't you think?! And for Easter brunch, a Mimosa Bar is ideal to suit all - The healthy folks, the moms, the kids (minus the champers 'course..), the dads and the cocktail lovers like moi. I spent my childhood in Rio, and over there juices are sacred. It's always hot and naturally, fridges are always full of homemade juices; 3 or more tropical fruit flavors at a time. All made from the pure fruits, water and sugar . They're not that hard to make and taste beyond amazing!

It's not an excuse, just how the cookies crumbles...There I've said it. When life gives you lemons, sometimes is hard to think about making lemonade. Especially when what you reeeally wanted to begin with, was a huge slice of comforting lemon meringue pie :) If my sweet analogy doesn't really cut the lemon curd (sorry...pun intended.), what I'm trying to say is; we don't always get what we want .
