With St Paddy's Day 'round the corner, I find myself drawn to all things green and gold. And ever since this post last year, I have been itching to get to style a simple green tablescape with pretty shiny accents! Plus, it also gives me an excuse to use my recent metallic tableware acquisitions ;)
American Football is not no longer a sporting event that's celebrated in the US alone. The love of the game and the NFL Super Bowl has taken over the globe, and I'm happy to see so many bars where you can now watch the Super Bowl in London, Paris and all over Europe! So a Super Bowl themed party was really a necessity 'round here. Even, if like me; you're in it just for the food & the beer ;)
There's nothing I love more than a nice weekend brunch. Especially in winter! It just evokes coziness, warmth and comfort to me. I think it may due to the scrumptious food on offer, like my baked eggs or panettone & marmalade tart . Or it might well be due to the lashings of rum hot toddy 's involved... ;)

I'm nowhere finished yet, but the lounge where I do all my photo shoots is at last painted and a blank canvas waiting to be adorned with party decor each season. And this simple DIY Thanksgiving tablescape is the first to christen the space!! It's quiet appropriately, as I'm super thankful to have this little nook to do my work in. And for that alone, I'm extra giddy to share the photos with your today! :)

Yeah, I basically spent a good chunk of my summer with a paintbrush in hand...and although it's far from finished, I'm celebrating each little 'victory' and taking pleasure in seeing some areas come to life - like my studio bar!
Some of you may be already prepping for back to school, but summer's NOT over folks. And we're determined to squeeze all the sunny days and summer parties in, before Fall totally takes over... For me, summer is not complete without a fun pool party . So for our third shoot with Coca-Cola® , we couldn't pass up the chance get our toes wet! The weather here's been extremely hot, and I also decided to set up a Coke Float station to also help keep things cool. Literally! ;)
Fiestas are not only reserved for Cinco de Mayo. I personally, would have a fiesta any day of the week. Tacos, pinatas, Margaritas....the lot! So when my friend Gillian sent over her stunning party photos with a fiesta theme and get this, PINATA COOKIES (!!); I actually did a little dance. It's a softer take on the usually bright Mexican inspired theme. It has pastel colors and warm summer hues with a stunning watercolor cake, and I reckon it would be PERFECT for a seasonal wedding, bridal shower, dinner party or girly birthday!

Easter for us is brunch. It's a tradition. Whether we have guests over or not. And for me, brunch is all about relaxed entertaining . Taking time to enjoy those around the table, and just be be present, together on this special period of the year.
Brunch is always more fun when funky drinks are involved, don't you think?! And for Easter brunch, a Mimosa Bar is ideal to suit all - The healthy folks, the moms, the kids (minus the champers 'course..), the dads and the cocktail lovers like moi. I spent my childhood in Rio, and over there juices are sacred. It's always hot and naturally, fridges are always full of homemade juices; 3 or more tropical fruit flavors at a time. All made from the pure fruits, water and sugar . They're not that hard to make and taste beyond amazing!
St Patrick's Day is just around the corner, so we've been inspired by all things green and gold! Gold is in our party palettes most time of the year, but couple with emerald hues in Feb., it makes for a classy and grown-up festive combination for any St Paddy's Day dinner parties, family gatherings, and of course seasonal weddings!
