I LOVE thinking of new, special ways to make food fun for my children. It makes the food taste better somehow. Yes, honestly! :) Here are a few really fun, easy to make and super cute  Rudolph Inspired Recipes  that I came up with for this photo shoot styled HGTV .

As promised, this is the second of the Holiday parties I styled for HGTV this year - A Rudolph Inspired Fondue Party  . There's nothing like the smell of gingerbread to put me in the Christmas Mood, and this week we're bringing you some fun posts inspired by this most delicious of Christmas scents!  The first of our posts is courtesy of our blog contributor Marda, from Belle Cake Topper and Mould , and she teaches us how to make the cutest Gingerbread People Fondant Toppers , inspired by Bird's Party Christmas Candyland Design !  :)

Chocolate Covered Oreos have been a permanent fixture on desert tables now, and I usually get my designer Oreos from either of my two favorite vendors: Sweeties by Kim or  Sweet Temptations. But for this handmade party I styled  for HGTV , I forgot to order in advance and had to make my own... Mine are nooooo way near as fabulous as the ones from the vendors above, but they tasted pretty yummy, and very handy when you're in a pinch! ;)

The last of our three  Kids' Holiday Tables was inspired by cute penguins, so naturally the color scheme was black and white , with splashes of bright yellow to warm things up! I wanted to create a more sophisticated and modern looking table, whilst keeping the styling fun for the kids - A good balance for those who love to entertain in style, even for little guests! ;)

I ♥ cookies, but am no cookie-decorating doyenne, so when Mars asked to bake some Tasty Table Lights cookies using  M&M'S® Chocolate Candies Holiday Blend , I jumped at the chance! I mean, how cute to these look?! So yummy too! Not to mention easy to make, so even a child could do it! ;) These cookies would also be great for a cookie exchange party, and I can see them becoming a favorite tradition in our home for the Holidays! ;)

This super cool Penguin Birthday Party (pun intended..) was styled by our fabulous contributor Mindy from Creative Juice for Bird's Party Magazine Winter 2011 .  Mindy used Bird's Party penguin frozen Printables and create a really rather fabulous "igloo" inspired desserts table, and I think the cute details she incorporated made the party really soft and delicate, showing just how versatile the theme can be for any child's winter birthday - Boy or Girl! Following on from the yesterday's White Christmas Tablescape , here are the recipe I created for the White Party Menu: Starter, Main and Desserts - Yes, you gotta have at least two!! It's Christmas after all! :) These are tried and tested, easy to make, inexpensive and so yummy! Now, I'm itching to do other monochromatic menus like red, orange and green....

I styled for and photographed this White Winter Wonderland  party last year for Bird's Party Magazine Winter 2011 issue , but never got round to sharing the extra photos, nor the white menu I created!  This was one of my fave parties to style, so serene and magical - Makes a nice change from my usual colorful tablescapes! Hope you enjoy the ideas, and come back tomorrow for the white recipes! :)

I love using crepe in my party tables too , it's so versatile and inexpensive! But this tutorial is even simpler than using double-sided tape, and this cute table runner can be made in minutes - only requiring 3 craft materials! The ruffle table runner adds a nice texture and dimension to the table. Here is what you will need to make your own no-sew ruffle table runner...

This SUPER fun, colorful and whimsical  Lorax Inspired Birthday Party was styled by our incredibly talented contributor, Smita from The Party Wall . I love working with Smita to come up with printable designs, as she really thinks 'outside the box' in any party she styles, and this one has so many incredible details!! Especially when you realize they were mostly handmade by Smita herself, despite her being a full time lawyer!  :) Check out the stunning details she created for her little Sohan's 5th birthday party...

Oh, how we do have some very talented customers!! The creativity out there never ceases to amaze and inspire me, and it's so much so in the case of this Mickey Inspired Party !
