Thank you JCPenney for sponsoring this post. Visit JCPenney in-store or online to shop the new fashionable picks at an affordable price! If you have children between the ages of 9 and 18, you'll know that fashion is quite a big part of their back-to-school routine. Having a first-day-of-school outfit that makes the kiddos feel more confident, comfortable and prepared for a new year is also something FUN to look forward to, besides books and school supplies. Bonus points if the outfit is also Instagram-worthy, right?! 😋
How is it back to school season already?! 🤪 Anyways, I thought today I'd share some fun, easy and inexpensive ideas for styling your office, work desk, or dorm room workspace in a modern farmhouse style! Of course, if modern farmhouse is not your cup of tea, then hopefully you'll still be able to draw inspiration from these craft projects and create a work space that reflects your tastes, and that motivates you to stay on top of work, whatever that may look like at the moment! So let's get crafting!
DIY Knitted Air Dry Clay Vases
Happy New Year to you creative and crafty friends! 🥰✨ There's no better way to kick off the new year in my opinion, than with some good DIY projects, especially when it involves such a therapeutic craft such as pottery or working with clay. Bonus points for doing some recycling in the process, or what I like to call, turning trash into beautiful treasure for your home! 😉
This will be the my last post of the year. A little sad to be typing that, but also really looking forward to spending some quality time with my family over the Holidays. My sister's coming over from London today, and cousins in the New Year, so not exactly total relaxation for me...But I love the merriment of it all !!
Today is the last day of February and since it's a leap year, I got thinking that a really cute Frog Birthday Party might be a fun theme for any little birthday boy - And of course it reminded me of the very first styled party I created entirely from scratch for my kid's two years ago! The Little Frog printable party collection was one of my early designs, along with my very own matching new fabric designs , first attempt at sugar cookie decorating , first attempt at party cupcake baking , first attempt at sugar lollipop making...you get the picture. So it holds a very special place in my heart!
Not sure if you know, but earlier this year started catering for those impromptu and last minute parties with our " Instant Download " party printables. Basically, they do exactly what it says on the tin - You pay and simply "walk away" with your printable download. No waiting. No queuing. No fuss. Which means you can shop 24/7 and get these printable goodies any time of day (whatever your timezone!). And because these instant download printables have been so popular, we decided to add a few more to the shop!! Woo-Hoo, did you say?! :)
Little Pilot | Airplane Inspired Birthday Party Ideas
There's no better way to get back into the blogging routine than with a full blown party that's packed with eye candy, right?!! I know most schools have already started, but this first class Back to School Party styled by Jenifer Banner from Banner Events is soooo beyond incredible that I'm sure you won't mind seeing it now! Plus, I have re-designed the printables as our "Little Aviator" Birthday Collection now available in the shop! ;) I say birthday, but we can also personalize it for weddings and baby showers too.
Re-purposing Christmas Decor the DIY Way
Happy New Year, party friends! 😍 We're kicking off 2019 the DIY way. Is there anything better? I think not! Today I'll be sharing some fun ideas to help you recycle, re-use and re-purpose those Christmas decorations that may already be looking a tad sad sitting in a box in your garage...
Happy 2012 my friends! Missed you! :) Yes, what can I say?! It's true...I missed you guys and this little nook, despite having had a cozy Christmas with my family and some much needed time out...
Ready to get the party started this year? We've got just what you need!! ;) It's befitting of a new year to start new projects and see old dreams come into being, so I'm beyond delighted and also a little relieved after months of hard work and sleepless nights, to be able to start the year with this big announcement!!
Christmas is a few days away, but you still have time to add a little crafty touch to your party tables and drinks stations! Whether you're hosting a cocktail party or full-on Christmas dinner this holiday season, these ornamental drink stirrers will help jazz up your drinks from now until New Year's Eve! Come to think of it, they'd be a perfect match for our Pomegranate Moscow Mule cocktail we shared yesterday! 😊
My Hygge Scandinavian Inspired Christmas Tablescape
According to Wikipedia, " Hygge is a Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment. " This meaning is exactly what I was lookin for when I styled this table. This feeling of effortless comfort and coziness that our Scandinavian friends are so good at re-creating, is something that really appeals to me at this time of year!
Hello and Happy New Year 2012! This is my first post of 2012 here at Bird's Party . I (Haniela) know we are only in the middle of January but my head is spinning with new exciting ideas for this year - I'm thinking Mother's Day, Summer, and even Fall. I can't wait to share some of my new recipes and baking tips with you as I hope stop by here more frequently. I promise! Valentine's Day is around the corner and I wanted share with Bird's Party readers a really yummy treat you can make for your friends, dear ones, children or for yourself. I'm a giver so I gave some to my friend's kids and to my Zumba instructor for her kids.
Hey sweet friends, missed you! Been working on some fun things this summer , taking some time off to chill with the family and generally catching up on those little things that get neglected during the year (like reading a great book!) so we're totally in relaxed-blogging-mode 'round here...be warned. But today I'm happy to be back giving away a cool 4 Recipe Books to one lucky winner - to help make your summer reading even yummier!

Mexican Mule Cocktail Recipe
Cinco de Mayo is nearly upon us and it's the perfect time of year to celebrate all things Mexican. Starting with the delicious, colorful cuisine, which of course includes some of my favorite fiesta cocktails! Last year I shared my cocktail recipe twist on the classic Mojito here . So this year I thought I'd do the same and re-visit another classic cocktail (the Moscow Mule), to inject a Mexican twist to my happy hour! 😉
How to Style a Winter Breakfast Bar for Entertaining + Easy Overnight Oats Recipes
This post is sponsored by Best You at Publix . The opinions and text are all mine. My intentions for this year are to be kinder to myself, to take time to enjoy the little things, and to generally create more hygge moments in my everyday life! Hygge is a Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment. And this is exactly what I had in mind when I created this winter breakfast bar!
Roast Pork with Herb & Mustard Crust Recipe
My favorite part of the Christmas Holidays is cooking and baking well into the New Year. It's my way of showing my family and friends how much I love them. I feed, therefore I love 😋 But I also like putting my feet up and enjoy their company, so I tend to go for big batch recipes, stuff I can make ahead or easy bang-it-in-the-oven-and-forget-about-it type of recipes. Hence this tasty Christmas roast pork with a gorgeous herbs and mustard crust, which I served at my Christmas meal last year!
Happy Black Friday, party lovers!! We have a HUGE deal for your today and on Cyber Monday only - 50% Off ALL printables in our shop!! It's the time to stock up for the year ahead! Woo-hoo! 😍
