Hey sweet friends, missed you! Been working on some fun things this summer , taking some time off to chill with the family and generally catching up on those little things that get neglected during the year (like reading a great book!) so we're totally in relaxed-blogging-mode 'round here...be warned. I'm not usually a huge fan of football (soccer) but something about the World Cup that just makes me wanna watch, party and cheer. We've always held world cup match watching celebrations in our family since I was a child, so I guess it's tradition now. Especially since this year it's been held in Brazil!! Talk about fun overload, right?! :) So all this week I'll be sharing some creative party ideas inspired by the beautiful game, and its   world cup host country!! So you can expect a touch of samba, a pinch of folia and lots of fun on the 'menu'! ;)

Last year, I got to design a super cute printable collection for a friend's baby shower. My brief was " stork theme with a French twist " . This giveaway is now closed! With the cold weather here to stay, sometimes you just gotta reach for that plate of comfort food to keep moral in check. It feels good to indulge in a plate of something familiar that makes me feel fuzzy inside. And despite trying to keep my new year's resolutions, I have no problem taking a detour in winter. It's my go-to equivalent of wearing a really snugly woolly sweater. But involving melted cheese instead. Yes, some of my fave comfort foods include cheese. The melted kind. Like a good ol' mac and cheese. Or a lasagna. Or tuna melt. Are you the same? 

My daughter loves pink, and I love red. So this year, I decided to go 100% down the girly route for our Valentine's Day styled shoot!  I adored designing our NEW  Valentine's Day printables , and working with some of the party supplies we carry in the shop , like those mini gumball machines, which I am just in love with! ♥  And if you follow me on Instagram , you'd have seen that being surrounded by all that candy is my idea of a heaven! This will be the my last post of the year. A little sad to be typing that, but also really looking forward to spending some quality time with my family over the Holidays. My sister's coming over from London today, and cousins in the New Year, so not exactly total relaxation for me...But I love the merriment of it all !!

Much like a fashion designer, we have to channel the latest trends in the party-o-sphere and be seasons ahead for any blog content, designs and styled parties. Christmas is done in May and Summer in December. Yes, crazy but that's how we roll! ;)
