I feel so lucky to have so many wonderful friends who share my passion for parties, and though Jennifer is a busy events stylists (who's been featured on HWTM, Kara's Party Ideas, LilSugar and more!) she's kindly agreed to come here and share some of her awesome work and creative party ideas with us! Sweet! ;)

A little about me... 

I am the mother of 4 beautiful children and the wife to an amazing, handsome, wonderful man who works so hard for our family. Before starting my family, I was a 6th grade teacher for 4 years and loved every minute of it!  I am passionate about traveling, exploring new places, people and cultures.  

In my free time, I enjoying card making, scrapbooking, baking, exercising and especially entertaining.  In late October 2011, after the encouragement of friends and family, I decided to take my passion for parties and dive into the event planning business.  Banner Events was born! 

My signature style...    

In my opinion, it's the little details that take an ordinary event and turn it into an EXTRAordinary event!  Some may call me OCD, but I feel my attention to details is what sets me apart and makes my style unique.  I'm addicted to themes and am obsessed about coordinating everything from the invitation, to the desserts & decor, to the food, favors & fun/activities of an event around the theme!   

My favorite piece of work so far... 

Wow!  This is a difficult question!  I invest a little bit of my heart and soul into each event I plan, which makes every event my favorite at the time!  If I have to pick just one, I'd say my favorite piece of work so far is the 4th Birthday Train Party I styled for my son, Landon, which can be seen over on Kara's Party Ideas!  

Seeing a variety of talented vendors take my vision and run with it in the creation of their own contributions was thrilling!  When my son's party was over and he asked if he could have another train party next year, I knew I had accomplished what I had set out to do!

On my to do list for 2012 (work aspirations, goals, dreams or projects)... 

I'm absolutely floored by how quickly Banner Events has grown since our launch at the end of October 2011!  During 2012, I look forward to working with a designer to create my logo & website design, polish my business plan, become acquainted with more talented 'party people', amazing Facebook followers, new clients & fabulous vendors!  

I'm hoping with a lot of hard work, I can grow my business & fan base in 2012 and do what I love--plan lots of parties!  I already have so much to be grateful for and look forward to!  My dream of meeting Martha Stewart is coming true at the beginning of March as I head to NYC to the Martha Stewart Doers into Dreamers event.  I am anxious to mingle with women in this industry that I truly respect and admire!
