Thanksgiving DIY Gratitude Gift Basket
Hello, Bird’s Party Readers. Jen Carver (of Banner Events) here, to share an easy and totally gorgeous Gratitude Gift Basket idea with you that you can make in time for Thanksgiving using seasonal Harvest produce and party printables!
Thanksgiving DIY Gratitude Gift Basket
This Thanksgiving, be sure to thank a teacher. After all, next to you and your immediate family, your child’s teacher is probably the person who spends the most amount of time with him or her. I am grateful for each of my children’s wonderful teachers and the time and effort they spend helping to encourage learning and growth potential in my children.
As a former 6th grade elementary school teacher, I know firsthand how meaningful a thoughtful handwritten note of appreciation can be. With Bird’s Party Fall Harvest Printable Package, putting together a darling gift basket to accompany the note of thanks can be so easy! (Of course, you may substitute another wonderful person in your life that you’d like to thank as well!)
For my basket I dressed up a bottle of sparkling cider with one of Bird’s Party festive autumn beverage wraps, some coordinating ribbon and a darling printable party circle logo. I created a little Autumn Blessing snack mix with some favorite munchies around the house (chocolate chips, marshmallows, peanuts, pretzels, candy corn and craizins). Bird’s Party favor bag toppers were so easy to affix to a cellophane bag.
Finally, using the wine/sparkling cider printable bottle wraps found in the printable package, I made a gratitude journal by re-purposing a standard composition notebook. What a wonderful treasure this will be for years to come as your recipient jots down life’s abundant blessings!
To dress up our apple basket, various pumpkins, gourds and corn husks were added. I affixed a cute ‘give thanks’ party label to the front of my basket and added a ‘thank you’ hang tag.
Voilà! One darling gratitude gift basket in less than an hour! Enjoy!
What a wonderful idea. And a great gift to give to the person who does all the cooking for Thanksgiving dinner too.
