I say we because I had a lots of help from my dear husband, who's very handy with a saw and drill. We brainstormed ideas about the tee pee design, and he basically built the thing for me!
I made a quick video to help explain the steps, plus a printable building plan (IKEA style) that you can use to help you out, though it's pretty straight forward! 😉
This cute teepee was used as a cozy lounge area for the girls during the slumber party, but you could totally attach it to the wall permanently in a child's playroom or bedroom as decor!
I loved decorating the teepee with fluffy cushions, and pretty party decorations to mach our unicorn slumber party birthday theme. But I'm sure we could easily decorate the teepee to match a camping party theme for instance, or a boho-chic bridal shower decor, right?!

Check out the quick DIY video below that shows you the steps up-close!
Directions:
1) Build the side poles: Measure about a foot from top of each pole, draw the center and drill holes for your bolts to go through. Repeat for all 4 side poles
2) Measure how wide you want your tee pee to be. Then drill 2 small holes onto each base pole and screw them to feet of 2 side poles.
3) Bolt the 2 side poles together and tighten with a spanner.
4) Measure and cut top pole, then add curtain panels.
