Backdrops play a huge part in helping bring a party theme together. Stylist are always on a lookout for unique materials and ideas to help jazz up our walls - be it for a table backdrop, for a photo booth or even as table covers! Wall murals, papers and canvases are some of my personal faves. The choice of designs you can find is incredible (think Disney images, graffiti art or any funky pattern you can imagine!), and a company like Photowall even lets you upload your own photos to create custom wall papers and canvases, which makes for a super cool not to mention unique party decor!
In-keeping with yesterday's cute as button theme, I'm sharing how to make these super adorable cotton reel place-holder cards . They'd make fun photo holders too, don't you think? I used them for the Paris craft show (see on Instagram here) last week, but you could totally change the thread to suit your occasion. I'm thinking raffia instead of the wool for Thanksgiving , or twine for a crafty party, or even lace or ribbon for a sewing themed bash or bridal shower!
DIY Fondant Buttons for Cupcake Toppers
Hey guys!! So glad to be back! It was a roller-coaster week full of fun and a super crazy work schedule, and despite my utter love for Paris (see on Instagram here) ; I could not wait to get back to my "normal" routine. Plus, I missed my babies too much!!! :) So while I wait to catch up with my humongous inbox, and edit some of the gazillion salon photos to show you, just wanted to share a quick tutorial I made for the cupcakes on display at our stand. These Cute as a Button Cupcakes would be perfect for so many party themes...think baby showers, tea party, sewing or craft party or even Lalaloopsy!
