Girl Scout Troop Spa Party

Love seeing how our printables and freebies are used by all our fabulous readers and fans, so when Courtney from Glamour Avenue Parties sent me these fun photos of her fab Girls Scout Spa Party, I jumped at the chance of sharing! Check out some of party ideas below as shared by Courtney.

I recently had the opportunity to style a spa party for a local Girl Scout Troop as the celebrated a successful year of activities. I was contacted by the Troops Leader, Tacey, for a fun spa and beauty themed event! I was given creative liberty to have fun with the theme as long as the color palette was pink and green!

Design Inspiration:

Tacey requested the colors pink and green and I could not wait to utilize Bird's Party FREE Girl Scouts Party Printables! I used nearly all of the signage available for the party as it all worked beautifully with my decor. I've never used printables or kits previously and I loved how everything was available to you and the options for styling were limitless.

Project Details:

The spa party included, 4 activity stations (make up, mini mani's, group facial, & craft stations) and a mini sweets table. Fun party additions included robes for each guest to wear throughout the party, and a "photobooth"

For activities at the party, the girls made DIY charm bracelets, which also double as their take home party favor, as well as make up application, facials, photos and mini mani's.

Dessert Table:

For the dessert table I used coordinating light pink and green fabric for the backdrop, as well as the banner from the printables for an eye popping look. I also thought a few treats would suffice for the girls, and kept it simple with lollipops with the Girl Scouts Logo, and cupcakes with images from the printables as toppers. To give my table a cohesive look, I also added images to the gable boxes, which included the girls DIY charm bracelet craft and a few more fun favors.

Tablesetting:

The main table was not only gorgeous to look at but was fully functional as it doubled as the facial station as well. To decorate each place, I used striped card stock as  a placemat, mirrors, bowls, facial mixes, and beverage. I wanted the girls to have all of the necessary items for the group facials, at their fingertips. For a fun touch, I used striped pink paper ribbon around plastic bottles, tied the Girl Scouts logo with bakers twine around the bottle, as well as, adding Girl Scouts images to the paper straws.
