Happy Chinese or Lunar New Year to you!! It's the year of the dragon, and I'm so excited to share a real stunning Chinese New Year party by one of our cool customers, Gillian from Crumbs of Comfort Cake Design.
I first saw this party on our Facebook page where Gillian posted some of her fabulous party photos, so I naturally asked her if I could share with you guys!
Gillian styled the party herself, and created all the beautiful cakes and oriental desserts for her client's bash, and here's what she had to say about the party and how she got started with her cake decorating business...
A Colorful Chinese New Year Party
Thank you for your wonderful feedback on my party!
I started my cake decorating business just over a year ago and have been blown away by the response. I had been an oncology/haematology nurse for 17 years and having 2 kiddies, I wanted something that was flexible. I certainly wasn't expecting to be so booked out! lol!
I honestly thought it would take years to build a client base. I have two more of your party printables that have been booked for parties in the next coming months - Your work is beautiful. The Chinese family I did this for were so thrilled with it!
