October is nearly upon us, and I thought it would be a really nice idea to share with you a beautiful Pink October Tea Party styled by a very dear friend of mine, Gillian from Crumbs of Comfort Cake Design for Bird's Party Magazine Fall Issue.
I designed the Pink October Printables inspired by Gillians resilience, courage and strength as a survivor from Breast Cancer. The word survivor, really is a befitting word to describe the stunning, strong, hard-working and empowering person that is Gillian - Check out her story below.

"I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 22 and I'm here today mostly due to the fact it was found early. I cannot stress enough the importance of early detection. Be empowered, know your body, know your family history, and encourage your friends and family to do the same.
I count my blessings I was given a wake up call of sorts at an early age and have gone on to embrace life to the full. I met my soul-mate and have had two beautiful children ( I was told I could never have). I do live with the fear that one day it will return so I make every day count.
Host a high tea this October using Bird's Party gorgeous printables and invite your friends and family.
Print off a breast cancer fact sheet, to pop in a treat bag with other goodies. Arm yourself and those around you with the information that could ultimately save a life!"
Gillian is one of the most creative, kind, generous, talented and super amazing women I know, and she's such an inspiration to me on so many levels - She's always full of life, love and sweetness; and ready to help others no matter what life throws at her!
