Summer's officially here, and it's SOOOO good to finally get our bikinis and sunglasses out of storage, right?! 😎
Of course, it's also time to brush up on our cocktails for all those fab summer parties!
And we're kicking off our summer of delicious libations with this refreshing, and oh-so-easy-to-make watermelon daiquiri cocktail!
Watermelon Daiquiri Cocktail Recipe
The Daiquiri has become my cocktail obsession this summer! I mean, you can basically create a delicious, frozen cocktail with any seasonal fruit and rum. What's not to love?
Since we have an abundance of fruit in the house throughout the summer, it totally makes sense to use them up in every way we can to create delicious treats in the kitchen!
And Daiquiris, my friends, is where it's AT!
It's such a fun and easy cocktail to make, and you can impress your guests by playing bartender at your parties...or let guests mix their own Daiquiris with a selection of summer fruits!
Whatever you decide, you're in for a real tasty treat! 😉
Non-Alcoholic Version
But if rum is not your thing, or you prefer to serve a non-alcoholic version (for kids, for instance), I have also substituted the rum with sparkling water or fizzy lemonade and it works a treat! It's a great option for baby showers too.
