DIY Farmhouse Stands and Risers
Anyways, like I said, I've been wanting to make some risers for a while to decorate my home.
These risers or stands are super popular right now, especially when used in a modern farmhouse style. But of course, you could paint them any color you like to suit your own interior design colors or taste.
A few months ago I shared a thrift store trip on my YouTube channel, and back then, I bought a few wooden curtain rod finials, which I thought would make great accessories for a project such as this one!
Inspired by these thrift store finds, I embarked upon making my own farmhouse risers and stands by shopping my craft stash and re-purposing "trash" into treasure, aka recycling.
I made two kinds of risers or stands - wood and galvanized metal. Both finishes looked so pretty, and are so versatile when decorating any space!
You could use them as plant, candle, snack or seasonal decor stands anywhere in your home.
I can't wait to decorate my farmhouse risers and stands for each holiday with seasonal props and items from my party stash! With July 4th coming up, these risers and stands would be perfect as table decor too!
For the galvanized metal stands, I use an easy paint technique to transform old cake pans into the most pretty risers! These are possibly one of my favorite DIY projects to date!
