Being at home so much these days, means we finally have the time to tackle those projects that we've been postponing for a while, like creating a beautiful wedding gallery wall!

So today, I'm sharing some easy ideas and tips, and showing you how easy and inexpensive it can be to create your wedding gallery wall at home using Walmart Photo Same Day products!

A gallery wall is the perfect place to showcase your favorite wedding snapshots and keep the memory of your special day alive in a beautiful display. It's also a really fun way to display special mementos of the big day!

Walmart Photo allows you to create a high-end look on a small budget with quality print products, and an easy, convenient shopping experience!

Creating a gallery wall like this could also be a special surprise gift to your other half as an anniversary present! How cool would that be to gift or to receive a thoughtful memento like this!

When creating your wedding gallery wall, the first thing you will need to decide is where in your home you're going to create this gallery. This step will determine the area you have available to work with, and will therefore determine the number of photos you can use for that space.

I suggest picking a blank wall that is not going to hinder the house traffic in any way, so avoid choosing a narrow corridor or a staircase, for example.

After selecting a good spot, now it's time to choose your favorite wedding or engagement photos to be used in this gallery wall. Pick photos of your wedding dress, or your favorite couples photo but also maybe some photos that include close-up details like the wedding rings, your bouquet or something else that speaks to your heart, or means something dear to you.

Once you've selected your favorite photos, then take a look at the Walmart Photo site to see what size of canvas prints, photo prints, mounted photos, premium wall decor or posters that are available so you can work out the sizes of each photo that you need.

After you have decided on the number of photos and their sizes, then it's time to grab a roll of wrapping paper or Kraft paper (or even old newspaper) and cut them out in the size of the photos you want to order to create paper “templates”.

These templates will allow you to arrange the photos on the floor and figure out their exact positioning before placing your order. You can even tape the templates directly to your wall and rearrange them until you're happy with the positioning.

For my particular gallery wall, I used a canvas combination of various sizes + a pretty poster that I designed for this display.

You can download the same poster here, and print it at any size you like over on the Walmart Photo site. I printed it as 12 x 18 inch poster size for my own gallery wall.

All the products (apart from the 16 x 16 inch canvas) are Same Day products, so you can set up your wedding gallery wall super quickly and so inexpensively too!

I also had a few photos printed at 8 x 10 inch size to use throughout the house to use in photo frames.

Once you have your photos, then simply replace your paper photo “templates” with the real thing!

To hang them up, you can use adhesive photo tape, hooks or even nails. It all depends on the surface of your walls.
