Easy Summer Appetizers

But this summer, I'm aiming for more low-key, relaxed kind of celebrations and savoring aaaaall the season has to offer in a simple and effortless way. Whos' with me?

Exit all the hours spent prepping and cooking, in favor of a more "organic" way of hosting! 

Therefore, I gathered some easy appetizer ideas to share with you guys here. Let me know what's your fav down in the comments! 👍😉

All of these appetizer recipes look so delicious and will impress your guests. But they also take no time at all to put together or can be made in advance.

Most of these appetizers also involve minimal cooking or chopping, which is a huge bonus in my view! Like in the example of this Peach and Burrata Platter from Foodie Crush that looks mega appetizing and oh-so gorgeous!

Apart from their ease of preparation, what I love about these recipe ideas, is that they use seasonal ingredients and produce that are abundantly available this time of year, wherever you are in the world!

Oh, and did I mention how inexpensive they also are? Yep, when feeding a crowd (no matter how large or small) budget is something we all need to pay attention to, right? 

For instance, this gorgeous Quinoa Salad from Bojon Gourmet is the perfect spread for making use of all those summery produce and herbs you may have in your fridge. 

In this case, they used the humble cucumber and feta for that refreshing seasonal touch!

These easy summer appetizer ideas also happen to look totally PIN-worthy in my opinion, and that's never a bad thing, right? 😁

Some of these appetizer ideas are not novel, but they are cleverly elevated by the way they are presented or served. 

So for instance, instead of a big bowl of salad, you can deconstruct the ingredients and serve them as skewers like in the case of this Greek Salad Skewers from Little Broken. It's such a fun, practical and pretty way to serve a salad in an appetizer format!

Dips are also a great appetizer idea, whatever the season. But skip the bowl this time, and serve your favorite dip, like this delicious Hummus from Eat This, in a large platter, scattered with seasonal crunchy vegetables for dipping and a generous glug of extra virgin olive oil on top.

This idea is not only super easy, but it will elevate your humble dip to new heights and make it look like it has been made by a food blogger! 😁

For your summer entrées or nibbles, you can also easily mix and match seasonal fruits, vegetables and the like to create a refreshing and delicious appetizer. 

This Grilled Peach Caprese Salad from Wit and Delight is served on a rustic wooden board for extra flair! You can also make use of the grill, which is probably already on; and create this appetizer is a flash!

And speaking of grill, why not make the most of it, by cooking some flat bread and turn it into a proper appetizer like this gorgeous Berry Grilled Pizza from Striped Spatula? 

My husband tends to always throw in some Pitta or Tortillas on the grill while we're having a BBQ, and  serving your grilled pizza or flatbread with fruits makes for a refreshing and easy appetizer. 

You can also top it with Goat's cheese, basil leaves and honey for a little savory-sweet kick too!

Now, this Tuna and Scallion Dip is my go-to summer appetizer to date! It's such a quick, easy and inexpensive idea too! You can elevate it like I said by the way your serve this dip. 

I like to decant it into pretty jars and serve with crusty bread, large caper berries and fresh cherry tomatoes on the side. YUM!
