Father's Day Party Ideas | A Green Blue Argyle Golf PAR-Tee
This party theme without a doubt, is one of my faves so far! It was styled by our talented contributor and mega creative stylist, Jennifer from Banner Events; and I just adore all the attention to detail she put into the styling!
Jennifer came up with the concept for the a Golf Themed Father's Day Party, as well as the ideas for the colors and argyle pattern; and we brainstormed a little over the design of the party printables.
She also collaborated with some extremely dedicated and talented vendors and professionals to create a stunning styled photo shoot for Bird's Party Magazine - Check out all the details as told by Jennifer...
Father's Day Golf Party Ideas: Party Styling and Printables
Any small space can be transformed into a golfer's paradise, even his office! To recreate our look, cover his desk with an earth toned tablecloth, add a 'putting green' runner (astro turf from a home improvement store works great!), some burlap for the sandtrap, a few containers of artificial or potted grass and you've got the basics covered for one tee-riffic party!
Of course, printable partyware always help to tie in the theme, add a pop of color and bring that added pizzazz that make celebrations go from ordinary to extraordinary.
Dear old dad is worth the extra effort, right? This gorgeous golf themed printable set by Bird's Party combines classic argyle and striped patterns in shades of aqua, green, navy and white - From the adorable par-tee banner to the coordinating drink wraps and circle labels, it was the 'par'fect touch!
Father's Day Golf Party Ideas: Party DIY Decor
Need some quick decor ideas? To add some interest to our par-tee, I filled containers with artificial grass balls, color coordinating golf tees, plastic practice golf balls and such.
If you're dad is an avid golfer, finding old golf paraphanelia around your home shouldn't be hard. We used a pair of golf shoes, a golf statue, some old golf clubs and an old trophy to bring in some personal items to our display. Old rustic silver pails, glass apothecary jars and vessels were all used to house coordinating themed treats and decor.
Father's Day Golf Party Ideas: party Desserts, Drinks and Sweet Treat
Golf silhouettes and printable subway art were hung in picture frames for the wall to coordinate. Jones Soda bottles and water bottles were accented with drink wraps, cute party straws, golf tees and mini golf pennant flags.Darling cupcakes were perched atop styrofoam covered in astroturf.
Cake pops were nestled in spray painted plastic trophies and a metal pail, and mini chocolates were housed in individual mini pail favors (to resemble range buckets).
