I've been meaning to post these for nearly a year now (wowser!), but I've finally pulled my finger out and got them down for you guys. So stay tuned for 3 fun and super easy Big Top Circus Party Tutorials coming this way soon (promise!).

Hopefully these easy tutorials will help embellish your kid's DIY Circus birthday parties without breaking the bank - I love handmade parties, and came up with these ideas for my kid's Big Top Circus birthday party last year (you can see the full party here).

Big Top Circus Birthday | DIY Little Clown Cupcakes

* Little clown printable party icons (I used the ones sold in our shop here)
* Lollipop sticks
* Yellow paper
* Scissors
* Double-sided tape
* Hot glue or 1" circular labels
* Decorated cupcakes or other treats of your choice

1. Cut 4x 2" wide strips from yellow paper and fold back and forth in an accordion fashion (the width of the folds should be the same, and I started mine at about 1".
2. Now fold each strip in half and round the edges with scissors

3. Cut the printable clown icons and secure to the lollipop sticks with hot glue or  use a 1" circular label to secure the sticks at the back of each topper, then glue all 4 four yellow strips to form a rosette.

4. Insert each lollipop stick into the center of rosettes, then the sticks into a decorated cupcake.
