Directions:
Step 1 - Melt white chocolate in the microwave at 30 second intervals. Using a food-safe clean paintbrush, paint the center of each mold with white chocolate. Place in fridge to set for a couple of minutes.
Step 2 - Meanwhile, melt candy melts in the microwave again in 30 second intervals until fully melted. Stir between each segment. Add a little flavorless cooking oil (like sunflower) if the mixture is to stiff. Add a tablespoon of the candy melt to the molds and tap the mold to level the chocolate.
Step 3 - Place an Oreo cookie inside each mold cavity.
Step 4 - Cover with more candy melt, ensuring the cookie is fully submerged. Tap the mold a few times on the counter to get rid of any air bubbles and level the candy melts. Fill to the top of each cavity and scrape off excess with a palette knife or spatula. Set in fridge for 30 minutes or until firm.
Then all you have to do is take molds!
PLEASE NOTE: The cookies came off quite easily by just turning the molds upside-down. I did use a little cooking oil to loosen my candy melts though - If you skipped this step, you may find you need to oil the molds lightly with cooking spray beforehand.
Just WOW!!!! These are so beautiful. I would have never thought of doing this with Oreo's. Sending this to my daughters also.
