My Pink, Blue & Gold Easter Brunch Tablescape
Last year I styled a super pretty Easter tablescape complete with a DIY floral table runner. So this year I wanted to change things up a bit, and keep things a little more casual and low-key.
I still wanted pretty table mind, but one that was much quicker and easier to style. You know, something that would appeal to all you busy bunnies out there?! 😉
You may have seen sneak peeks of this table over on my Instagram stories in the last few days, so here's the finished article!
Some aspects of this pretty brunch table styling would also suit any spring event like a baby or bridal shower, or even a simple Mother's Day luncheon or tea party (minus the Easter eggs of course)!
Simply change up the food you serve to cater for your guests and event!
My Pink and Blue Easter Brunch Tablescape
For this Easter brunch tablescape I was inspired to use pastel pinks with touches of blue and gold, mainly to use decor items I already had at home, like my pink napkins and cute speckled Easter eggs!
Also, I couldn't wait to use my newly acquired hyacinth place mats, which add so much texture and interest to any table!
So I started layering a white table runner onto my distressed wooden table for contrast, and added the place mats on top for another textural element.
Much when styling a desserts table, these things can add so much interest to your dinner table, so don't neglect the contrast and textures, folks!
To keep the ensemble calm and counter-balance the dark wooden table, I used white dinner plates topped with super-gorgeous egg-shaped desert plates and pink napkins, again to add more texture and height to each place-setting.
To complete the look, I added touches of gold flatware, simple crystal glasses and gold mugs (swoon!) for the hot beverages we typically serve at brunch.
Each place setting was also adorned with a hand-written decorative Easter eggs with the name of each guest (written with a gold Sharpie), and topped by cute egg-cups filled with mini Easter eggs in the colors of our table.
These little cuties evoke Easter of course, and also double as cute favors for guests to take home (or keep them amused at the table!). It's such a simple and effective way to bring the "Easter vibe" to any table!
For the table centerpiece, nothing simpler than a gold vase filled with seasonal blooms! In this case, I used my husband's favorite flowers, freesias in pink and white.
Then punctuated throughout the table, I added mini gold serving bowl filled with decorative blue and pink Easter eggs.
Simple yet so pretty, don't you think?

This is so pretty. I love the egg name holders.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this fun Easter tablescape! The soft colors and gold accents are such a pretty combo. I will be featuring this at this weeks Creative Circle link party.
ReplyDeleteLooks gorgeous! We booked Alexandra Park venue near Auckland, NZ this year. Their staff helped us a lot with organization. The atmosphere, music, decorations, food, everything was at the highest level
