Easter Mantel Pastel Decor DIYs
As you can probably tell from my recent Easter themed posts here on the blog, I'm currently really into pastels.
I know it's not a groundbreaking concept for Easter or spring, but there's just something so cheerful and comforting about pastel colors - be it in parties, food or tablescapes. Am I right?
Maybe next year I'll choose a more neutral color palette or farmhouse style for my decor, but pastels it is for my mantel decor this year!
Easter Mantel Pastel Decor DIYs
For my studio mantel decor, I already had at home some of the decorative pieces, like a couple of wooden bunnies. So I simply purchased a few other crafty bits and bobs to complement my stash of props and pretties for this Easter post.
If you follow me on YouTube, you'll probably have seen the craft haul VLOG and shopping trip I shared recently, and some of the items from that haul were used in today's DIYs!
I also made that gorgeous DIY window frame really inexpensively to act as a backdrop to my mantel, and I LOVE how it turned out!
A large statement piece like that would cost a fortune in the shops, but I managed to make it for under 10 euros (or $12).
To complete the look of my modern, pastel mantel decor, I also created a simple Easter wreath, which I'm in love with! Again, it was super easy to make!
All of the DIY projects in this post were very simple to make, and you could even solicit the help of young crafters with all the painting work!
I also love the versatility of all the pieces I created, as I know that I can easily change the style and look of the mantel next year, just by painting the decorative objects in a different color.
Oh, and let me know in the comments what color you're using to decorate for Easter? 🤗
