This is year I decided to re-design our original Easter Bunny printable with pastel color scheme: Pastel pinks, yellow, blue and green. I also added a few more cute printables in there like the paper bows, adorable Easter Bunny Cupcake Wrappers in four colors, cute printable bag toppers , brand new invitations and over 18 pages of printables to help style a beautiful Easter Party with ease and without breaking the bank! ;) Luckily the weather co-operated enough on the weekend for me to bring the whole shoot outdoors in the garden...
I styled this Easter Kids Brunch last year for Yum and Food for Kids Magazine. Their Easter issue is out and full of amazing ideas!! And with Easter round the corner, I thought I'd share all the details here on the blog with tips and trick on how you can re-create it at home. It's a very simple and super colorful table that will wow your little bunnies! But these unique ideas can also be used for the family table too, simply replace the disposable tableware with fancier china.

Last year we had a mimosa bar as part of our Easter brunch ( you can see it here ). It was such a hit with everyone, that this year I'm still going the self-service bar for brunch. But with waffles! As you can probably tell from my recent Easter themed posts here on the blog , I'm currently really into pastels. I know it's not a groundbreaking concept for Easter or spring, but there's just something so cheerful and comforting about pastel colors - be it in parties, food or tablescapes. Am I right? Maybe next year I'll choose a more neutral color palette or farmhouse style for my decor, but pastels it is for my mantel decor this year!
Easter for us is brunch. It's a tradition. Whether we have guests over or not. And for me, brunch is all about relaxed entertaining . Taking time to enjoy those around the table, and just be be present, together on this special period of the year.

Finding beauty and comfort in the smallest, "mundane" things, treasuring family time and remembering that no matter how frightening things may seem, that there's always something to be grateful for and to celebrate!
There are tons of Easter egg decoration ideas and DIYs on Pinterest . But to be honest, some of them are just too involved, or not child-friendly or require blowing out eggs (who has time or patience for that?!). So I just came up with the pretties and EASIEST Easter egg decorating technique , using a medium you already have at home - nail polish! ! :)

When testing the idea, I actually gave my husband a little fright when he opened the egg carton box to make omelet for lunch :D
Sounds weird, "lamb cake" , but this is exactly what it is. But don't be alarmed, it's really just short for "lamb-shaped chocolate chip cookies sponge cake with vanilla butter-cream" :) Yes, I baked on the weekend.
