Hey friends, today I bring you a super quick and easy DIY craft project where we'll be making 4th of July patriotic star wands!
These DIY 4th of July patriotic star wands can be used to decorate cakes, cupcakes, to make headbands, to make bubble wands and so much more!
It makes for a super fun, last-minute craft activity for kids too and you only need a few inexpensive supplies to get this craft started!
DIY 4th of July Patriotic Star Wands
These 4th of July patriotic wands are the perfect craft project to make with the kids before or during the 4th of July celebrations!
This craft project is also really inexpensive and requires simple materials your probably already have at home. Not mention that it's super easy and great way to pass the time and stimulate motor skills!
You can also use these stars to create bubble or decorative wands, drinks stirrers, headbands to wear at the 4th of July Parade or to create treat toppers to decorate your buffet tables!
I used the patriotic colors of red, white and blue for the pipe cleaner, straws and beads, but you can of course change the colors to suit any event or holiday!
I'm thinking these wands would also be a great party favor for princess or fairy parties, or even a Frozen themed birthday party!
You can also add ribbon, glitter and other craft accessories to embellish your wands to your heart's content and personalize your craft!
DIY 4th of July Patriotic Star Wands
Please note: Although this craft project is fairly simple, due to the use of scissors and small parts it's only suitable for children aged 5 or older.
To make these patriotic star 4th of July wands you'll need:
* Pipe cleaner of various colors/textures: red, white, blue, glitter or twist them together to create your own custom colors and textures!
* Paper Straws
* Star-shaped cookie cutters
* Scissors
* Beads
* Headbands
* Optional: Other craft add-ons to use as embellishments like ribbon, glitter, pompoms etc.
