With Mardi Gras 'round the corner, I thought it would be the perfect time to share this gorgeous glitzy and glam Masquerade Party with you! It was styled by my dear friend S arah from Sarah Sofia Productions for a Murder Mystery Party , but I think many of the ideas can be used for a Mardi Gras party too. Sarah asked me to design the printable decor and backdrop banners, and I love how everything turned out! The Superhero party theme is one of the very first I designed for the shop . So I felt this year it needed to be jazzed up slightly. Kinda like a printable makeover. Which ALWAYS gets me in the party mood! So I did a double happy dance when my good friend Virginie reached out to use our Superhero printables for her little Romain's 5th birthday party! Especially because we then get to see them in super pow wow action :)
With the Brazilian soccer world cup happening and the release of the Rio 2 movie, I'm doubly delighted to share this colorful and vibrant Rio-Amazon-jungle-inspired birthday party !! Crissy styled it for her daughter's 9th birthday, and I worked on the party printable collection inspired by her vision, ideas and chosen colors. She really wanted the Amazon rain forest come to life and I think she pulled it off beautifully as usual!! A while back I was honored to be able to design for the 1st birthday one of our most sweet customers, Nicholas! Nicholas' mom had a clear vision of what she wanted for the designs, and we set off to try create an "Up Movie" inspired collection that did not use any copyrighted images! It was no mean feat, but I was really happy with the results. And by the looks of things, so was Nicholas! :) Check out below all the STUNNING party photos - I especially love the travel-themed favors and decor, and that awesome cake and those incredible cake pops!! ♥

I ( Mindy ) live in northern California and one of our family’s favorite outings is to the jelly belly factory ! Aubrey was so excited about this theme for her party {and so was her brother ... my little guy has lots of allergies and jelly belly beans are vegan and safe for him to enjoy too} and since Aubrey’s birthday occurred in the middle of writing my book, I relied quite a bit on the incredible vendors (listed at the end) to help make her day special! I also relied on a simple color scheme: Rainbow ! The Jelly Bean Printables were designed by Bird’s Party - the jelly bean and striped patterns were exactly what I was looking for – and they were just perfect!
