I'm forever in search on fun activities to keep the kids amused and entertained during spring break, so craft projects often come to my rescue! Now that my kids are a little older, finger painting just doesn't cut it as a craft anymore, 😋 but luckily, they love polymer clay for creating fun and useful objects like key-rings, jewelry, photo-holders, etc. These DIY cactus place-card holders are our latest craft project, and they're perfect for celebrating Cinco de Mayo, which is nearly upon us!
With Cinco de Mayo around the corner, we couldn't pass the chance to share our cute DIY for these papel picado fiesta straws! If you follow me on Instagram , you'd have seen them in our insta stories last week. Aren't they super cute?! Perfect to jazz up our pretty party straws for your fiestas and celebrations! 😉 Check out the easy and quick DIY tutorial below!
DIY Quick & Easy Citrus Candles
Come Spring we find ourselves eating more and more outside, like for the fiesta party we shared last week. And there's nothing I like best than evening meals in the patio, surrounded by flickering candles to set the mood! Bonus points if your candles look mega original and smell subtly fruity! ;)
DIY Hair Accessory for Cinco de Mayo
Following on from yesterday's Mexican Fiesta Party post, I thought I'd post a quick tutorial on the colorful senorita hair piece I created for the party shoot. These are so easy and quick to make and can be made in advance of your party and handed out as party favors or used to embellish and decorate party tables, favor bags, as brooches, to decorate candy jars, sombreros.
