This is my go-to quick route when baking cupcakes. The frosting also takes no time at all to make, and no need to get the mixer out!
Plus, I find the combination of chocolate and Mascarpone such a marriage made in cupcake heaven...so creamy and luscious! YUM!
I also love that it's pure white, which doesn't alter the color of the frosting, unlike (yellow-is) butter! So I tend to use it quite a bit in my cake and cupcake decor recipes, like the churros cake I made a while ago on Snapchat.For the decor of these cupcakes I wanted something pretty in pink, so I used a combination of sugar sprinkles in addition to those DIY cupcake heart toppers, using craft supplies from BirdsParty.fr (we now ship to EU!). * 1 box of chocolate cake mix
* 3 eggs
* 200 ml of cream
* 400 g of Mascarpone cheese
* 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
* 1 cup of icing sugar
* sprinkles to decorate
* printable cupcake heart toppers
