Okay, so if you subscribe to our blog feed in the promise of a free printable, you'd have noticed we slacked somewhat for January... January is not my fave month. It's not an excuse, just how the cookies crumbles...There I've said it. Between getting the mag ready , fighting attacks of winter colds and sniffles, re-stocking the shops , while doing a blog re-vamp (BTW, not even finished!) = slacking on the freebies printables front. But hopefully you'll forgive me (since it's Valentine's and all *wink*). 'Cause today I have one cute free printable kit for ya!!

When life gives you lemons, sometimes is hard to think about making lemonade. Especially when what you reeeally wanted to begin with, was a huge slice of comforting lemon meringue pie :) If my sweet analogy doesn't really cut the lemon curd (sorry...pun intended.), what I'm trying to say is; we don't always get what we want . Stuff happens. But most certainly, there's always, ALWAYS, something to be thankful for!

After I designed yesterday's freebie pencil-shaped bookmarks , I couldn't help but think the designs would make a super cute party box! My kids LOVED the box so much, and I'm thinking it's the perfect gift box for teacher gifts too (fill it with chalk, candy, pencils...), and of course a back to school party favor box! I'll tell you a secret: I am not really keen on living out of sink with the seasons. I'm the person who used to dread seeing Halloween stuff in the shops in August. But due to the nature of my job, things have changed a little, and planning that far ahead is a necessity...Having said that, I'm never quite ready to see winter sweaters for sale in July! And certainly never ready to say goodbye to summer. Ever. But I also know that it's inevitable, and some people have no choice but to start planning for back to school now. So to make things a little easier, this week I'm sharing some back to school printables: Bookmarks, name tags and super duper cute freebies!
Tic Tac® DIY Wedding Favor Idea with Printables
If you follow me on Instagram , would've have seen a little sneak peak of today's post using Tic Tac ® mints as a wedding favor idea. Tic Tac's goal is to "Shake Things Up" , and I was thrilled when they asked me to come up with a fun packaging idea for a wedding favor! Tic Tac® packs remind me confetti, little colored sprinkles, perfect for weddings. So I wanted a modern vibe for the packaging, something that would be meaningful for a wedding, but also add a modern/funky twist to shake thing up ;) Naturally, I turned to printables. And glitter. 'Cause if you can't have a bit of bling on your wedding day...when can ya?!
Since we're still in world cup mode 'round here, and because 4th of July is around the corner; I thought it would be really cool to take a Brazilian recipe and give it a USA twist. So I came up with red, white and blue themed Brigadeiro Spoons (recipe coming soon) - the perfect sweet treat to watch those football / soccer matches, or to display on your July 4th dessert tables. These yummy spoons make really cute party favors too, just wrap them in a clear bag and add a FREE printable 4th of July tag - Being sent out all this month to our Email subscribers ( click here to subscribe and you'll get it in tomorrow's email ).
