DIY Floral Napkin Rings
Mother's Day is on Sunday, and if you're looking for last minute ideas to dress your table, then this DIY is for you!
Not only it's super simple to make and dresses up any plain table instantly, but it also uses materials you probably have around the house. AND it double as a pretty gift for mom! ;)
But really, these cute flower napkin rings are perfect for any Spring party, weddings, tea party or brunch! I'm even thinking it would be darling for an Alice in Wonderland birthday too!
DIY Floral Napkin Rings
Materials:
* small faux flowers
* small faux flowers
* cardboard tubes (kitchen roll works great!)
* hot glue gun
* green floral tape or washi tape of choice
* scissors or craft knife
Directions:
1) Cut the cardboard roll to about 2 inch thick rings. I used a craft knife then trimmed the edges with scissors to neaten it up.
1) Cut the cardboard roll to about 2 inch thick rings. I used a craft knife then trimmed the edges with scissors to neaten it up.
2) Wrap floral tape or washi tape around the cardboard ring to cover it completely.
CRAFTY TIP: you could also spray paint the rings or cover with metallic tape (as seen in this tutorial).
3) Arrange the flowers in a pleasing fashion (tall ones at the back), then hot glue them to the rings, pressing firmly for a few seconds until it adheres.
Easy, right? I love how these turned out, and had so much fun creating a quick table styling to see how they'd look "in action" :)
Super cute table decor! I thought they were real flowers at first glance. This idea would definitely bring a table all together. You should come link this up at Welcome Home Wednesdays! Party opens 7a CST Wed. www.suburbansimplicity.com Hope to see you there!
