Mexican Mule Cocktail Recipe
Cinco de Mayo is nearly upon us and it's the perfect time of year to celebrate all things Mexican. Starting with the delicious, colorful cuisine, which of course includes some of my favorite fiesta cocktails!
Last year I shared my cocktail recipe twist on the classic Mojito here. So this year I thought I'd do the same and re-visit another classic cocktail (the Moscow Mule), to inject a Mexican twist to my happy hour! 😉
Mexican Mule Cocktail Recipe
I love the classic Moscow Mule cocktail, don't get me wrong, but I also re-inventing and discovering new flavor combinations with the addition of simple ingredients.
Like for my twist on the traditional Moscow Mule Cocktail for the holidays last year as you probably saw here.
So in true mix and match form, this year I went for a spicy, very refreshing and super delicious Mexican inspired Moscow Mule cocktail, hence the aptly named "Mexican Mule".
If you love Tequila and spice, than this one's for you!
This cocktail is also super simple to make, and if you don't fancy playing bartender for your fiesta, you could totally make a huge batch and serve in a pitcher, so guests can help themselves!
I gave the cocktail recipe for one person below, in case you're flying solo and need a cheeky drink after work 😉. But you can double, triple...the recipe to suit your vent and number of guests.
The only recommendation if you're making a large batch cocktail, is to be sure to add the ice at the very last minute to stop it from being too diluted.
Check out the recipe and the quick video below to help you get shaking for your Cinco de Mayo party! 😊
