My friend Virginie, editor of the french blog Maman DIY and of the french magazine La Tribu des Idées , created and styled this beautiful birthday party, to celebrate her son's 5th birthday party! I've had the photos in my hands for a little while ... but since it's THE summer season, there is no better time to show you her fun and creative ideas! 🐬🌊🦀🐟
A Seaside Inspired Tablescape and 3 BBQ Recipes
Summer rhymes with BBQ and eating outdoors, so we've been cooking most of our evening meals on the BBQ this summer. It's a bliss not to have the oven on inside the house, and somehow, food just tastes so much better al-fresco, don't you think? So a few weeks ago, we decide on a baked version of the classic shrimp boil. But because it's cooked on a sheet pan on the barbecue...we called it BBQ shrimp.
Today I'm bringing you a stunning, sparkly Under The Sea birthday party from my friend Smita from The Party Wall blog . We're SO lucky to count Smita as one of our blog contributors! She always comes up with the most incredible, creative and DIY parties (despite working full time as lawyer!), which never cease to amaze and inspire! Smita styled this party for her little Aashi's 6th birthday party inspired by Finding Nemo/Dory for added fun! Check out all the sparkly details below as told by her!
