Hi guys hope you had a fabulous 4th!! :)  I took the day off yesterday afternoon but now back to work full throttle, and just wanted to stop by and share a really cool video with you! Ok, so I am trying to sound nonchalant, but the truth is, I jumped (up and down) with joy when Amy Atlas asked me to use some of my 4th of July Party Printables for a segment she was doing on Acess Hollywood last Friday!!  Just being asked by Amy and have her style my printable is dreamy enough for me, but to have them shown on a really cool TV segment on NBC is just the sweetest cherry on top of huge cupcake!! ;) 

Pinterest has become my first port of call when styling any party now, and Bird's Party Pinterest Boards are bursting with party ideas and inspiring crafts, tutorials, recipes and general party pretties I find in my searches! For the   Pool Party  I styled last weekend, I wanted to serve some ice cream without the bother of worrying about them melting in the heat etc. So I scoured Pinterest and the web for ideas, and came across loads of interesting  faux ice cream desserts, so I decided to make that instead. Another thing I did NOT want to do was spend my entire day in the kitchen , so I cheated a little and used shop bought chocolate brownie bites! ;)

I styled this really relaxed, impromptu Pool Party last weekend with my kids to celebrate the beginning of our summer! Had soooo much FUN styling, splashing and basically chillaxing with them!! Today I'm sharing the party detail, but I also have a really fun (and rather yummy) tutorial coming your way soon!
