Halloween Kids Crafts | DIY Little Monster Candy Baubles
Ok, so I know the title says Halloween Kid's Craft, but really, I had so much fun doing these myself that I know even grown ups will enjoy! ;) If you have a pair of little hands around, then great! If not, these cute little monster baubles make for great trick or treat packaging, Halloween party favors, as hanging decorations on a centerpiece or desert table spooky tree, and off course spooktacular gifts for teachers, classmates, neighbors or anyone who likes candy!!
I love to craft, and know YOU love to craft too, so imagine my excitement when Silhouette asked me to share an exclusive promo code in time for Halloween?!! :)
This giveaway is now closed! One of my guilty pleasures is watching The Real Wives of Orange County , and I remember an episode where the ladies had a canvas painting party , and was thinking to myself "that is such a cool party idea for a girl's night in or hen night!" Well, guess what?! Social Artworking™ allows you to do just that!! The concept being that guests start with a trendy 16″ x 20″ canvas art pattern and all the supplies needed to complete a canvas of their own. After a few hours of laughter and fun, they leave with a work of art that they created themselves!
DIY Trick or Treat Halloween Favor Bags
These printable Trick or Treat tags can be printed on white cardstock and used just as they are to adorn Halloween party favors, candy jars, as cakes toppers and more! But you know me, always looking for new ways to use printables, so how about using heat-transfer paper to customize your own muslin favor bags and BOO your neighbors and friends in style this Haloween?! :)
Little Monsters Halloween DIY Place Card Holders
There's soooo much you can do to decorate for Halloween using party printables! I was scratching my head to come up with a new idea for these sweet little monster dessert toppers , and then I remembered the similar place card holders I created for my kid's Barnyard Birthday Party this year! ;)

Since we love pumpkin patch so much, I created our own Halloween Peeps Pumpkin Patches ! Super easy and fun to make! Enjoy!
A SpiderMan Inspired 7th Birthday Party
One of the best parts of being a printable designer is getting to see all the fabulousness that your designs and printable help to create in your customer's lives! Sounds very cliche but really; there's no better feeling than knowing that you were a tiny part of a child's special day - Makes me all fuzzy inside! :)
DIY Halloween Candy & Lollipop Party Centerpiece

But they CAn be edible! ;) With the use of a few party printables and materials you probably already have around the home, you can create a super sweet and very practical centerpiece, that also doubles as a Candy Party Favor Holder ! ;)

DIY Hatching Chicks Cake Pops Recipe
My kid's Barnyard Birthday Party was posted a couple of days ago, but already have a few emails asking me about the cake pop chicks, so I think you're gonna like this post! ;) I was inspired by a fabulously talented friend from Lynlee's Petite Cakes when I made these "Hatching Chick" cake pops - I remembered seeing Lynlee's similar idea using fondant sugar paste and push-up pops on Bird's Party Magazine Issue 5 , and thought I could make a similar chick but with cake pops instead!
Rustic Farmhouse Apple and Berry Pie Recipe
Following on from yesterday's Barnyard Birthday post , this is the recipe for the " Farmhouse Apple and Berry Pie " I made instead of a birthday cake! I always like to incorporate a lot of handmade details in my styled parties, but this time around I was also in full prep for Bird's Party Magazine Fall Issue , and hence my shortcuts - Instead of a fancy decorated cake, I opted for a farmhouse-style, rustic fruit pie for my kid's Barnyard Birthday this year . I'm no Nigella, so "rustic" is the operative word here! ;)
My Kids' Joint Barnyard Farm Birthday Party
I love thinking of fun, unique ideas and twists on popular birthday themes, and it was no different for my children this year - We always have a joint party as they were born on the same day but two years part, and the Barnyard Farm Theme was a perfect solution for their 5th and 7th birthday celebrations! I did snap loads of pics a usual, but below's a taster of the day...Oh, and because I made a lot of the stuff by hand, there'll be some tutorials coming all this week! :)
Aqua and Orange Baby Shower by Celebrations and Sweet Creations Though I hate to admit it, I know I've been slacking a bit in the link party front, but hoping to get back into the swing of things...So forgive me? :) I've now visited all the links from our last linky, and LOVED seeing all the amazing creativity from all your linked up party posts! So thank you for your patience and for taking the time to join us!
