This year, I started re-decorating my office and was immersed in a color palette and all matter of pretty, geometric, gold objects since summer. And I just can't get enough of it!! So much so, that I decide to inject a little black and gold, geometric action into my Christmas table decor. As always, there are lots of simple and DIY details that are also easy on your wallet , so anyone can copy the look!
Okay, so the traditional Scottish shortbread cookie aren't really meant to be "Christmas trees". They're just baked in a round cake pan, then cut into triangles. But I think if you dip them in chocolate and sprinkle with sugar stars like I did, they totally look the part, don't you think? :) Therefore PERFECT for Christmas and Holiday parties!
