Confetti rhymes with New Year's Eve celebrations for us, and we've taken inspiration from this colorful and festive party decor to create a FUN but easy New Years Eve Party for Kids.

Plus we bet they'll LOVE getting involved in the preparations and DIY too since we've incorporated tasty Fruity Pebbles in the mix ;)

DIY Confetti Cake

Treats are essential in any Holiday celebration, but any party tailored to kids needs to up the fun factor, right?! And nothing says 'celebration' to us better than a cake!

It's easy to make, super tasty and will create the wow factor for sure.

Recipe: For the cake, simply bake your favorite vanilla sponge recipe (we used a packet mix) and cover with cream cheese frosting. Then add Fruity Pebbles cereal to the sides of the cake with palm of your hands whilst frosting is still soft. Top with a glittery 'Happy New Year' cake topper. Ta-dah!

Kid-Friendly New Year's Eve Toast

For a kid approved beverage to accompany the confetti cake, we had to go with milk. It's healthier than sodas and looks totally the part when served into champagne flutes (plastic ones of course).

To rim the glasses, simply dip the rims into syrup or honey, and dip into a plate of crushed Fruity Pebbles. Serve milk flutes with a cute paper straw inside.

DIY Confetti Poppers & Party Treats

Edible confetti is so much more FUN, and Fruity Pebbles are really versatile and can be used to fill candy bags or push-up pops like we did here.

If you provide scoops and containers at the table, guests can also have fun filling their own treat bags and push-up pops at the party, ready for the stroke of midnight!

P.S. - Toss the confetti outside to avoid mess and provide birds with a tasty NY snack ;)

DIY Confetti Balloons

Celebrate the clock striking midnight, by filling balloons with Fruity Pebbles cereal and confetti.
For this, simply fill balloons with the help of a funnel. Inflate them and hang or tape to the ceiling

When the ball drops, let your mini guests pop their balloons for a fun confetti shower!
